I wanna take a sec to talk about how Khun treats Bam because I might start crying.
So many people have called Bam a “monster”. Some have called him a “god”. It’s way more than I’d like because that sweet boy is just trying to exist. Even some of Bam’s own friends — and Bam himself — tend to forget that Bam is, in fact, just human.
Khun does not.
When Bam starts to feel disconnected from his own humanity, Khun is always there to ground him. Khun flat out says he doesn’t want Bam to be used anymore. While he sees Bam as someone incredibly powerful, he doesn’t venerate him. He treasures Bam deeply, but because of who he is, not what he is. When he found out Bam was an irregular he didn’t even flinch (he pretended he was bothered, but from what Rak said after that, it seems like he never doubted Bam for a moment and instead immediately decided to help him). He’s just Bam, a lonely and kind boy who wants to protect his friends, and Khun’s going to look out for him and make up for his short comings.

Khun: [laughs at something Bam said]
Bam, to himself: this is great. i’m going to get a good grade in being Khun’s friend, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve-
I have a fondness for the checks-and-balances with these three
Isn't it tragically beautiful how Khun could be considered the best thing that happened to Bam, who craved an emotional connection more than anything else? I don't think he fully realizes how lucky he is for having someone like Khun at his side.
bam’s selfishness is one of my favorite character contradictions and is also in general a really good take on the “selfless chosen one” and “hero who wants to save everyone”. people are not going to like me calling bam selfish, but he is. at different times in the series he’s selfish enough to want to save everyone, selfish enough to put himself first, selfish enough to pretend he wants to save everyone, and selfish enough to put first the people he cares about even at the detriment of strangers. the moral inconsistencies caused by the disconnect between his innate compassion and the inherent selfishness that comes with being a human is one of the most fascinating and most nuanced things about him, giving him a depth that’s not really seen in action protags with their moral superiority.
“…He is mine…”
I just wanted to see Khunbam kissing in front of Rachel… This was very self indulgent omg asdfasdgfg
infuriates when you and a friend play chess on your bed, and he stumbles over the air and falls, throwing off the chessboard and all the pieces on the floor translate: - TURTLES! I`M– what are you doing - i stumbled
Seeing V treat Bam so poorly, even telling Luslec that he did a great job preparing Bam's body for him, truly pisses me off. He does not see his literal child that he and Arlene made, but instead, a tool that he can use to get revenge.
V, you may be hot, but I want to yeet you out of the tower. (It's totally fucked up that I still like him, right? Lol)
You call me your god, make wishes as you please, then reject me when you don't need me. I quit! I'm not your god anymore!
I miss you
