Random thoughts, Star Wars, Cats, and whatever. No politics. All hate will be responded to with sarcasm. All of my cats came from the neighborhood feral population as kittens and are spayed/neutered.

At least the yard thinks it’s Spring...
I want to share some ways to avoid illness amidst the coronavirus scare and this awful flu/respiratory season.
1. Wash your hands immediately prior to eating or touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
2. Don’t turn the faucet off with your hands. (You put the germs right back on them) Use your elbow or a paper towel.
3. The friction of drying your hands kills more germs than the washing. (Using hand dryers is inferior)
4. Don’t touch the bathroom door handle with your freshly clean hands (especially in public)
5. Sanitize your cellphone often. If you touched it with your dirty hands, you will get germs right back on your hands. (Touchscreens carry more germs than toilets!)
6. Keep hand sanitizer in the car to use after going in public, but still wash when you get home.
7. Frequently sanitize anything hands touch often at home. Computer keyboards, your mouse, tv remotes, microwave buttons and handles, refrigerator handles, oven handles and knobs, cabinet handles, light switches...I could go on forever!
8. Wash your hands after doing dishes and after handling dirty laundry and after transferring said laundry to the dryer.
9. Kick your shoes off at the door. Don’t track in the germs!
10. If someone in your home has a stomach virus DO NOT LET THEM USE A HAND TOWEL. MAKE THEM USE PAPER TOWELS! Remember rule #1 (obsessively)
11. Try to stay 6 feet away from people in public so they can’t cough or sneeze their germs on you.
I hope this helps. I am aware of my OCD. For the love of all that is holy...DO NOT EAT OR DRINK AFTER ANYONE!
