I just read a post the other day and it was a writer (I love them) saying Mike’s speech was good NOT BECAUSE IT WAS GOOD OR WELL WRITTEN but because it’s definitely some dumb shit a 15 year old kid would say when they’re trying to just say things and I’m laughing cause that’s so fucking true.

Like the speech isn’t good, it’s not deep or well done, but that is so something a kid would say, like it’s realistic and cringey. The more you think about it though, the funnier it is, because Mike was forced into giving the confession and he really said “okay fuck what do people say in those shit movies— oh! I love you on your good and bad days…uh…shit shit okay, I loved you since the first time I saw you! Yeah that’s good, and (what did that one guy say in that movie my mom loves?) my life started the day I met you!”

Like the more you think about it, it’s so fucking funny because it’s so obvious they took the most basic lines from cheesy rom com movies and made Mike say them. Because that’s ABSOLUTELY how a stressed kid would act in this situation. It really looks like Mike heard this stuff in a movie and saw the girl swoon there and just thinks it’s gonna do the job.

Do I ever want to watch it? No it makes me vomit it’s horrendous, but when you look at it from the light I think we’re supposed to, it’s hilarious because it’s so Mike.

I’m so annoyed that they made Cas weaker in the later seasons. They had him constantly being beat up every time he went at an enemy. I’m currently watching a scene where Mary seems to be getting more licks in than Cas did.

Personally, I think the WB hated that they were made to bring Cas back and found ways to punish his character for it.

He was a warrior angel who led his own battalion. Wings weren’t what made him a good fighter. He kicked ass in that barn fight when Zachariah had Dean and Sam writhing in pain.

It just really pisses me off that post S7 they have him constantly getting his ass handed to him.

If Will was a girl, straight people would eat that shit up in a "girls and boys can't really be besties 😏" kind of way and I hate it.

it would’ve been so so easy for them to still make Will gay without making him have a crush on Mike. so easy.

but why would it specifically be Mike if it were going to be one sided? to make him one of the most miserable characters?

also it would be such shitty writing if they went with him confessing to Mike, Mike rejecting him but accepting him, Will understanding and then they go completely back to normal and give Will a random boyfriend in the last season
