NCT Dream’s Jeno, Jaemin, And Renjun Talk About Team Chemistry, Dreams They Want To Achieve, And More
NCT Dream’s Renjun, Jeno, and Jaemin look charismatic in their summer pictorial for Arena Homme+ magazine!
In the interview with the magazine, the NCT Dream members talked about their hobbies in the summer. Jaemin shared that he enjoys water sports, such as riding a jet ski or yacht, Jeno revealed that he likes swimming, and Renjun shared that he enjoys the feeling of going on a drive while looking at the sunny sky and beach.
During the interview, Jaemin touched upon his team’s chemistry, commenting that the members were no different from family to him since they had known each other for seven to eight years. He explained, “Since we know each other so well, we don’t fight, and we have a relationship in which we can say what’s on our minds right away.”
Jaemin also shared that he tries his best to talk as much as he can while working to convey his bright energy. He added, “When I go back to the dorms, I stop talking. I’m the type to use my energy outside and recharge at home. My bed is a portable battery. At home, I enjoy listening to music alone, composing, or editing photos.”
In his interview, Renjun revealed that he enjoys imagining characters and stories before he sleeps. He shared, “For example, I think about what kind of life forms would exist in my world if I were a character in the movie ‘Avatar,’ and I imagine where I would go if I could fly.”
When asked if he believed in fate, Renjun replied that he did, using the moment he passed the SM Entertainment audition as an example. He shared, “Such an unbelievable thing occurred to me. I applied for the audition, but I had given up since there was no response. However, I got a call back while I was eating, and I screamed on the spot because I was so excited. I bought a ticket to the audition location the next day and participated in the global audition.”
Jeno chose TVXQ’s Yunho as someone he wants to take after because of his great passion. He commented, “It will be difficult to catch up to him, but I really want to be like him.” Jeno shared that before he became a celebrity, he used to enjoy studying, reading books, and doing puzzles. He shared, “I studied really hard in elementary school. Thinking about it, I really enjoyed doing things on my own.”
When asked how he thinks the members think of him, Jeno replied, “I think they see me as reliable. When we discuss important topics within the team, I’m naturally the one to speak. On second thought, rather than relying on me, it seems like they’re shifting over the difficult questions to me. Hahaha.” He also spoke affectionately about the members, sharing, “I can’t imagine what it would be like without them.” Jeno added, “We have a world of our own.”
Finally, the members talked about their dreams and goals. Jaemin shared that it’s important to dream big, and he elaborated, “My dream is that there would be even more fans who love us. In order to achieve that, we have to promote even harder.” Renjun shared that his dream is to earn approval from himself and to travel the world in the future, and Jeno shared that his dream is to become an amazing person who is also happy.

It was all lies. I stanned them all. You can’t just stan one sub unit of NCT. I’m definitely still picky about the music tho.
Just crashed hard into NCT. Officially know all their names and can tell them apart. Started with WayV, then to the English Lines, then the Dreamies.
Spent at least 5 hours on Nomin videos. That friendship makes me simultaneously extremely happy and a little jealous. I want a friend to go on bike rides with and stare into their eyes adoringly.
I’m not a huge fan of any of the music. Not really my style, but I’ll keep up with the them.
Might actually stan Dream, because I love that whole group. Chenle and Jisung are adorable. I love Chenle’s laugh and Renjun is so cute I want to give him a hug most of the time. Also, between Jaemin and Jeno I can’t decide a bias.
Haechan and Mark are both super funny, but you don’t even see them half the time. Haechan come back. I need more interaction, so I can really love you.
In conclusion, I like a lot of NCT memes so I’m happy to understand them now. Like WayV, but I need more content. Might stan, but not sure. NCT 127 is good, but not really my vibe. I enjoy them ocasionally, but not gonna stan. The dreamies are where it’s at. LOVE them. Sorry to all you OT21 peeps out there. That’s too much for me. I tried though if that helps.
Side Note: I want to protect Jungwoo bc he is so soft. WayV bias pending. I’ve discovered that I don’t really stan a group unless I can find a bias I love.

Soooo... just a question, but what kpop fandoms have the best fanfiction?
Like obviously BTS has some good stuff bc of the amount of writers. For them, I can afford to be picky. Confessions, I only read ot7 polyamorus reader or oc inserts. Yes, very specific taste. My NCT taste on the other hand are broad. As long as it has some variation of norenmin, I’m happy. Goodness tho, the quality of some of the NCT stuff is amazing. Good content, many styles.
One the other hand, skz and txt don’t have as much content, at least none that appeals to me. There is definitely some good Bang Chan Reader stuff going around. But Its not my style and shipping skz is really weird to me. Txt just doesn’t have anything. I think the boys personalities are just hard to write, so they dont have a lot of content.
Anyway, I’m trying to find my niches in each fandom. Pls give me some recommendations.

taeyong: 7/10. asks you what it is you’re drinking, looks alarmed when you tell him. puts a lid on it. you don’t know where he got it from, though.
yuta: 10/10. glares at anyone who looks at it. people think he just has two drinks.
ten: 1/10. thinks you’re offering it to him and drinks it straight away. when you ask for it back, he just laughs and dances away.
kun: 9/10. should be a 10 because he takes good care of it. -1 point because he makes you throw it out anyway (just in case) and get a new one.
doyoung: 10/10. just puts his hand over the top and continues what he was already doing. stays in the same spot so you can find him easily when you get back.
winwin: 2/10. protects it but forgets to give it back. realises an hour later that he’s still holding it, looks for you for 0.2 seconds, shrugs, and dumps it.
jaehyun: 8/10. does well not to forget about it, but he spills a bit. 6 points for protecting it. 2 points for the concept of Jaehyun holding your drink at a party.
jungwoo: 5/10. agrees but then forgets which drink is yours and which is his. they’re both the same so he keeps whichever has more in it, giving you the lesser one.
lucas: 6/10. instantly says yes and tells everyone he talks to that he’s holding it for you. -4 points because he moves around so much that you can’t find him for like 20 minutes afterwards.
hendery: 2/10. says yes and pours his drink into yours so he only has to watch one. they’re not the same drink so it tastes like shit. drinks it anyway.
xiaojun: 9/10. you give it to him because he’s the best option out of everyone you’re with. pretends he doesn’t want to but patiently waits for you to get back.
mark: 8/10. gets worried because he’s now holding two drinks (yours and his own). puts his down so he can focus on holding yours. probably gets his own drink spiked, though.
renjun: 4/10. groans and makes such a big deal but gets really protective of it when one of his friends offers to hold it instead. when you get back, he tells you one of his friends tried to spike it (untrue).
jeno: 10/10. just holds it. doesn’t understand why anyone would make a fuss. gets concerned when you’ve been gone too long.
jaemin: 5/10. should be a 1/10 but he gets 4 points for having some reason and giving it to Jeno to hold instead.
donghyuck: 3/10. chaotic. spikes your drink while you’re in the bathroom but with lemonade or something else that’s harmless. laughs when you almost spit it out when you get back.
yangyang: 8/10. should be a 10 but -2 points because he probably accidentally gives you his drink when you get back instead of the one you’d asked him to hold. and its a lot stronger than whatever you were drinking.
chenle: 7/10. takes very good care of it but takes a sip despite you specifically telling him not to, because he probably won’t like it. and you were right. criticises your choice in drink when you get back.
jisung: 10/10. says yes and doesnt let his eyes leave the cup the entire time you’re gone. intense focus. jeno gets concerned and asks if he wants him to hold it instead, but jisung has been warned about this (he says no).
