“Don’t allow the fear to overpower you, allow love to overpower you. Love comes from the center, fear always comes from the periphery; don’t allow this periphery to be dominant.”
— Osho
& I fed you milk till you fell asleep
As I always do, I kiss your warm head
as a tiny little sigh slowly whispered
The final breath of relief from today
into
A
mesmeric
state
My dear
& I tell you I love you
I always end up nuzzled up with you for just a bit longer
I think to myself
I will give my best self to her every day, every hour
That even these moments while she’s a baby
I can clearly see how having no distractions
is the key to a happy healthy loving family life
Days are not always the easiest and challenges await one day but
“I’m too happy right here”
So I write about it after I put her to bed
I can’t help to cry hallelujah
thank you lord.

“Jerusalemite prisoner Amani Hashem, a mother of two, returns home to her family and loved ones. She has been jailed since 2016; occupation forces erected a virtual siege on her family home today, including invading and seizing the baked goods prepared to welcome her.”
