🍪Snacks in the grass🍪 . “what a delightful day!” Exclaimed Hoppington frog. He sat with the Earl- a dear friend of his for many years. “Indeed” agreed the Earl “and such a delightful day calls for a most delightful treat!”. The Earl sat down and placed a chunk of cookie on a nearby mushroom. “I found this by the picnic table next to the pond” he said and he broke off a piece with a large chocolate chip. “Goodness, that is a very big sweet!” Hoppington said with excitement. The Earl croaked in agreement “yes, but it is much to large for one frog alone, which is why I brought it to share with you!”

Speckled Wood Butterfly 🦋 what a lovely October friend! Have you seen any of these butterflies where you live? Ive been seeing lots of little yellow and white butterflies, even a few monarchs but as the weather gets cooler they’ve been coming around less. I’ve added shimmer to his wings so he catches the sun 🌞 .

Planning for a lino cutting! I might do some practice mushroom stamps soon :) I’m so excited for print making✨

✨Prints up✨ finally decided on the background! I think it stands out much more now😊 they’re up and listed- 8.5"x11", glossy photo paper ✨ . Also, for anyone wondering about the 3"x3" mini canvas originals, I’m hoping to go to the post office soon to get the shipping estimated so I can list them too! I’ll keep you updated 😊

Red clover! 🍀 This was probably the most difficult one so far because of all those little petals, but I’m very pleased 😊 these are also very tasty! If you lick the bottoms of the petals it’s wonderfully sweet✨

I present to you... The smallest lil mushroom that you ever did see ✨this is the 3rd of the mini canvases! now just need to let them all dry (why must oil paint take so long to dry 😭)

✨Taraxacum✨ and so with the ending of summer, so too does the season for dandelions come to an end. Now all that’s left to do is scan it and add the labels! Next up I’m thinking… Red clover? Then maybe some fun fall forage flora! Let me know any other plants you'd like to see :)
