YES. Tokyo Debunker (the actual game) is literally nothing like the ads btw. I don't know why they even have these ads if they're gonna be so inaccurate.

Tokyo Debunker is a visual novel, basically. It follows a girl (you can name, bc ur the MC) who gets cursed by the supernatural, and the only thing that could've been a quick 'cure' doesn't work bc the curse is too strong.

I'm being purposefully vague to avoid possible spoilers btw. But from there the game is a lot like Twisted Wonderland, if you've played that. If not, basically you get sent to magic college and aren't allowed to leave for IMPORTANT REASONS.

And there's the story:

There are a bunch of mysteries lore wise as the game isn't finished, but trust me when I say it's REALLY interesting.

Also, the translations of some lines are comedy gold.

So when I say ignore the ads when considering playing the game, I mean IGNORE THE ADS. There is not a single pixel within those ads that even remotely reflects the game.

Just finished chapter 14 of episode 7 of Tokyo Debunker! So! Spoilers for those!

Why even would her curse be an allergen? That seems way off-base. It's absolutely not. An allergen would have her coughing and sneezing and feeling weak. She seems fine.

... So, hold on. If that's the case, why did a demon take Luca's brother? And why do demons make pacts? For a side effect, Luca's demon seems pretty adamant on killing him. Actually, why would Luca be so confident his brother isn't dead? And that the demon is keeping him somewhere? Whatever, loving the exposition either way, not loving that Darkwick literally did lie about the ghouls, but i'm loving the exposition.

Yeah :D I like it a lot! I only picked it up a few days ago, so I'm not exactly knowledgeable on what's happening though... Also I'm lost and suck at the fights 🥲 But I AM enjoying it! The exploration is great, the battles are fun, I love the mechanics and both the visuals and sfx/soundtrack are really pretty imo

I LOVE WASPS THEYRE SO NICE. Bees take getting anywhere near them as an excuse to commit acts of terrorism, but wasps? They fly right up to ur shoe! They say hi!
