HAH! SACRIFICES!

Bro I swear to you nothing could possibly cause more heartache than just existing around Ed I'm gonna have an aneurysm
"I told you not to leave her side! God, you suck!!" MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY LMAO
God I love the Obs trio sm
Dude he doesnt have a nuke lmao I have the remote
@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaee why
So, I'm about 7 seasons into SG-1, so spoilers for that, but I have a question.
Does anything cool ever happen to Sam the same way it does for the others?
Teal'c is an Alien who switched from having a larva to that injection thing, and he has a son, and he's fighting oppression from the Goa'ulds.
Daniel Jackson was on the first mission to Abydos, got a wife, lost his wife, died, became an ancient, helped O'Neill and Teal'c as an ancient, tried to save Abydos, got turned back to a human, lost most of his memory, all of that
O'Neill lost his son, was also on the first mission I believe, is pretty much the leader of SG-1, and apparently, as I have recently learned, IS THE NEXT STEP IN HUMAN EVOLUTION.
Even the stand-in! Jonas is also an alien, his planet is home to Naquadria, the otherworldly bugs, he was the first to see those, something something the time Carter and O'Neill almost exploded into water, he showed whats-his-face, I believe it was Anubis, where the Naquadria is and massively screwed up via doing so.
What about Carter? She made leaps in Stargate research, sure, but what else? She never resurrected, she's not an alien, she never got Ancient Knowledge bluetoothed into her head, she's just smart.
When Daniel Jackson sees her for the first real time after ascension, it's not emotional or plot important like O'Neill or Teal'c, he addresses her, then addresses Jonas THE SAME WAY, then talks to O'Neill. I recently saw the episode where O'Neill gets cloned, and there's a scene where she's trying to give a lecture on jets to new recruits, and guess what?
The new recruits ignore her completely. They laugh at her. Then FIFTEEN YEAR OLD O'Neill clone comes in and they IMMEDIATELY LISTEN TO HIM? They would sooner listen to a 15 year old boy about these devices than an accomplished scientist and pilot.
For the first few seasons, it seemed like she was always the one coming up with ideas. Until Jonas came along, and suddenly he was the quick thinker. Now I'm not quite sure what role she even plays. She's a good shot with a gun, and with alien tech, but ultimately that's Teal'cs and maybe O'Neills job. She's smart, but Cloneill was able to get back from an Asgard ship easily, and it's not her they named a ship after, it's him.
I just want to know, does Sam Carter ever become plot relevant in the same way the others do, Alien, Ascended, Evolved, or does she just stay being a way for the writers to pen in solutions to episodes that the other characters wouldn't learn, and an occasional love interest for O'Neill? Cuz this is starting to piss me off. The only time I can remember her being relevant was when a Tokra 'possessed' her, and her dad being the Tokra 'representative', but ultimately those matter more for connections than they do for her character.
To be clear, this isn't me criticizing her characterization. She's probably my favorite character on the whole team, and she's written fairly well, I just want to know when, if at all, Sam Carter will have an important impact on the universe like the other characters, outside of one thing that happened before when the show is set.
Spoilers for episode 10 of Tokyo Debunker
Oh he's cute
Oh he's dead. Dunno what I expected.
I knew it. NOTHING GOOD EVER HAPPENS AT DARKWICK ACADEMY.
AWWWW I LOVE LYCA HES SO SWEET.
"I want food. Tell him to make ours first."
"I can't just-"
"wait, I know that smell."
"the food?"
"Hey, MC!"
Also, what's up with this new camera work thing? I swear it wasn't in any other chapters. Quality increase, maybe? Hire new staff? Budget? Idk but it sikes me out every time I see it
YES. OMG YES. MONEY. According to Google thats like 5.6k USD for one weeks work. Jeez.
Lastly:
Edward you immortal whore. 400 years old and still a massive slut. Christ. LEAVE HER ALONE FFS D:<
Mudkip, please????
[Very scary and intimidating cry]
Tokyo debunker spoilers... Again.
OM MY GOD I WAS SO RIGHT. JUST STARTED THE CHAPTER IMMEDIATELY, BOOM, THE FUCKERS ARM FELL OFF. JESUS CHRIST.
Okay- I still have a bit more available to read so I'm gonna put this in my drafts, but first, just gotta say, I love Lyca with all my heart. Brb
Okay yeah there was only one more- jeez it's gonna take a while to get the others 😮💨
Okay! So- first thoughts, absolutely love Lyca, dog boy is so cute and kind and kdjrbfejjfbdbd he's the best.
More than a bit concerned about Moby's requirements with aiding in the Gala. Reminds me of Crowley from Twisted Wonderland. Pathetic, demanding, and in love with blackmail.
Rui is. Concerningly flirty. NGL. He's cool and all, but I am not a fan of how much he keeps ignoring Lyca >:( that is my son and u will respect him.
Vampire guy is. Um. He might have depression ngl. Or some hysteric psychotic version of such.
Also- they felt the need to censor a missing arm but somehow they didn't feel the need to censor ANYTHING in chapter 2? Or Taiga eating a like dove? No?
Genuinely tho Lyca is so sweet, not surprising bc he spent so long with Subaru, but seriously MC gets a trauma flashback and immediately Lyca is like "nope. Sit down. I wanna stand, sit down." He's so sweet.
Anywho, that's all, I will be back in like a year (or however long it'll take for me to do the next case and read the next section. Knowing the cases, I may have underestimated when I said a year.)
Y'think MC is gonna beat Kyklos Medusa-style? I mean I know it takes a year for the curse to kick in, I just think it'd be really funny.
Or an AU where MC is like the only person Kyklos was able to curse, so the curse is just desperately trying to keep this girl from failing miserably and dying a horrible death before the curse goes through, giving MC some sort of temporary half-wit immortality. Imagine she bumps into Rui in the hallway and accidentally touches him, and suddenly her skin starts growing vines and quick-decaying flowers to fend off Rui's curse from killing her until it stops.
Imagine putting Jiro in Rui in a crowded room together. Playing a game of "what happens first: Rui commits manslaughter or Jiro dies of immunodeficiency" throw Taiga in too actually. "What's gonna be the first COD; Curses, Bullets, or Germs?"
Make it a gameshow with MC as a countdown clock. Everyday they go into the same crowded room for a few hours, Rui hides in a corner, Jiro just stands somewhere and everyone passively avoids him, and Taiga tries to keep himself from shooting someone somewhere vital
Everyday another thousand is added to the prize pool and whoever lasts the longest without causing a casualty wins. If MC dies alone they have to split the money, so Taiga goes around shoving people in the other two's general direction until he learns that if it works he'll be disqualified.
It's the most boring gameshow ever, except sometimes people tune in to check if anyone's died yet, (or even approached any of the contestants) so after like a month the hosts decide to throw in a cat, a mouse, and a bird as a wild card and now everyone's freaking out.
The crowd of people is still also in the room. Jiro is trying to avoid the mouse as to not catch a harmless disease that might kill him, Rui is trying to fend off an affectionate cat so it doesn't die, and Taiga has to miss about five times before he realizes that the bird is not a like dove.
Every week there's a new twist to make sure people actually tune in. Maybe Leo will show up to harass someone. Maybe Yuri somehow wandered in and is lecturing people about poor health habits. Maybe Jin is sending nuclear threats and they have to change the location. Maybe Lyca just learned how to call Rui.
Occasionally the camera changes to show MC educating the viewers on Flowers, pouring tea, conducting an interview, or giving an update on her curse. Sometimes she takes calls like a radio show. Sometimes it's people asking how the hell she got in contact with people like Jin Kamurai, Romeo Lucci, and whoever else.
Mind you, this very well might take place as they still go to Darkwick. I just think that would be funny. Hell, even take the gameshow part out of it, I just really like the idea of giving a main character a radio show. Twisted Wonderland, Obey Me, Tokyo Debunker, let the pseudo-isekai pseudo-otome protagonist run a radio show.
This was meant to be a collection of different one-off ideas, then I got to the third and ran with it. Idk man sometimes my thoughts come and go like plankton sometimes they're more like leeches I don't get to choose which
Part III of EP 11 and what the fuck is Leo's deal
"Dear diary, I believe I'm a good person"
Do they fr write numbers on inmates necks in prison??? Also nervous MC in the background of a much more confident characters shot is starting to feel like a running theme
"these guys" as in Vagastrom or "these guys" as in prison guards
I assume Vagastrom, but like MC bro there's literally only one problem child in Vagastrom and he's right beside u
I tested out the other options and I like how no matter what u say Leo steps in to cover for u. Like I get it's to not compromise the mission but yk. Still.
