Now that it's been confirmed by the producers of The Bad Guys Movie that Marmalade is indeed an Alien in this universe as well (just like in the books) I think my theory on him being the one who brought down the meteorite (which holds the ultimate power) into the city is starting to make more sense.

The producers did say they were going to reveal his true form in the movie, but thought it was to much for a single film, so they're saving the reveal for a probable sequel, as they said.
