I’m writing this post about the upcoming midterm elections on November 6th, in which I’ll be voting in the state of Tennessee. In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now.  I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country. I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG. I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent.

I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love.  Running for Senate in the state of Tennessee is a woman named Marsha Blackburn. As much as I have in the past and would like to continue voting for women in office, I cannot support Marsha Blackburn. Her voting record in Congress appalls and terrifies me. She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives.  Please, please educate yourself on the candidates running in your state and vote based on who most closely represents your values. For a lot of us, we may never find a candidate or party with whom we agree 100% on every issue, but we have to vote anyway.

So many intelligent, thoughtful, self-possessed people have turned 18 in the past two years and now have the right and privilege to make their vote count. But first you need to register, which is quick and easy to do. October 9th is the LAST DAY to register to vote in the state of TN. Go to vote.org and you can find all the info. Happy Voting! 🗳😃🌈

It’s so sad there is only 6 more US shows left of the Reputation Tour. It’s been such a fun tour and I’m gonna miss it, but I’m excited for more tours and albums and more!

~At RED we got to the stadium at 9am, waited outside the tour bus entrance, and got to meet amos, paul and your mom who during the show upgraded us to front row!!!

~At 1989 we did the same thing, got to the stadium super early, and got to meet your opening act vance joy!

One of our traditions since your Fearless tour in 2010 is to go see your shows and I’m so so so excited that in 1 month, SEPTEMBER 8th in Kansas City, we get to see you again!!! 💕💕💕

MINNEAPOLIS NIGHT 2 TOUR POST!

Hey Taylor, my name is Molly and I’ve loved you since I was 11 and I’m 21 now and guess what! I still love you so much! Probably more than I did when I was 11, so that’s pretty cool. Anyway, you’ve inspired me so much throughout my life and you’ve made me feel understood and less alone in so many ways. I would love the opportunity to hug you and thank you for everything. I have always felt like we were best friends even though you don’t know me like I know you. Okay, this is significantly longer than it needs to be so here’s the point of this post: I saw you opening night and I was in such a trance, I tried so hard to find a second show I could go to and I’m going to Minneapolis, night 2 with my dad and my brother (they’ve never seen you before! I’m so excited for them to experience it!). Our seats are Lower Sideline 127 Row 12, Seats 14, 15, 16. We’ll be by the first B-Stage, I’m SO EXCITED. I will most likely be wearing the snake cutoff t-shirt and jean skirt pictured above (unless I change my mind) and then I’m making a sign! I’m so excited to dance with you again! Dear @taylorswift ,

Thank you for giving me the best first concert experience ever! I remember when I was nine years old and I heard Teardrops On My Guitar on Radio Disney for the first time. That was the moment I started to paying attention to your music and since that moment, it was my dream to see you in concert, which, I am happy that I fulfilled that dream😊.

I officially became a Swiftie during the RED era and wish I could have gone to the show. But the reputation show was beyond anything I could have imagine. The lights, set list and costume changes were everything. I sang, I danced, I screamed and most importantly I saw you live doing what you love❤.

Although, I didn’t meet you I know my time will come soon and when it does I can’t wait to give you the BIGGEST hug and tell you how much you and your music mean to me😊.
