The Grass Blade

The grass

Uniform and green

Yet each blade is unique

This one is the color of sage

That one is the color of evergreens

This one looks weird

Drastically different

Odd color and misshapen

Sharp and round

When the spring comes

Warm and sunny

The grass greenest

This freakish blade blooms

Up and out

Fresh and clean

As red as blood gorgeous as the sunset

Above and better than the green grass

Appears the beautiful rose

Kind and protected
