I don't get the half full half empty glass analogy to life
Like no you don't need more water or in this analogy things and fulfilments
What you need is to cut the glass in half that way it's already full without having to add more water
Or in this life analogy stop thinking about life as the things you have and the things you want
Stop trying to plan every aspect of your future
You need to stop looking at you glad like it's half anything half empty or half full
All you need to do is focus on what you have
If the water is building up too much surface tension sure you can switch to a bigger glass but it should never be the case where it is exactly half full half empty at max it should be ⅔ full and ⅓ empty

So I mentioned I would do this in a thread the other day with @tangledbea and I’m finally doing it. I honestly think the evolution of the way Rapunzel uses her powers is so dang underrated. She spent her whole life just sustaining Gothel, being fueled paranoia that people would use her for her magic. And yet throughout the show we see that proven wrong time and again and yet…Rapunzel never really volunteers to use it for Corona all that much outside of big fights. Until PEEV, where Rapunzel uses her powers to save everyone. And I just-….there’s such an interesting dichotomy to that; Rapunzel being so afraid that anyone could use her for her power and then using it to save her kingdom without even being told to. Because SHE chose to, SHE wanted to help.

and tears are literally taking the stress out of your body! That’s why they’re salty!
But there was no need to be ashamed of tears, for tears bore witness that a man had the greatest of courage, the courage to suffer.
