I can't tell if these are all real but they are all so gorgeous!!
My favorite part is the ability to go to any synagogue and song along with the prayers
Even tho I don't connect with the prayers it's nice to sing like that in a community
Seeing this huge spike in antisemitism, especially in leftist spaces where I thought I could be safe, has taken a toll on me. But right now, I want to spread some positivity as a way of reminding myself and my community that we will not cower in defeat or let other people take away our pride.

Reality
The world is odd. No one knows if it's real.
It's real to me, But only for three reasons.
The way the light bounces off of the leaves in trees. The sound of leaves shuffling in the wind. The gorgeous green.
Leaves are real.
Love and joy, And all the other feels. The need to laugh and lack of anxiety. The uncontrollable tears and ever shaking limbs.
Emotions are real.
The sharp, the dull, the broken. The shattering and Swift. Always there. Free charge, and certain to work. Avoided at all costs, yet so calming and tranquil.
Pain is real.

Marilene has been having a very long day. She had spent all day making sure her siblings were in line, helping take care of younger campers, showing new campers around, triple checking on Kiara because she always managed to get in some kind of trouble, and somehow finding time to eat, train, and do chores.
The point is, girl was exhausted. She looked like she hadn't slept in weeks. To be fair, she barely slept the night previous. Now there was a younger camper who had attached themself to her leg.
