For a moment she gaped at him, nodding slowly with shocked concern. She hadn't spoken at all through what he termed his "edgy awakening backstory monologue", half out of fear of disrespect, and half... she wasn't too sure what it was. His story seemed to get nothing but worse the longer it stretched on; around the point where he described his close brush with death she thought he'd stopped talking about himself and started retelling a 15-year-old's My Little Pony horror AU without her realising.
