Dream and George had always talked about eventually starting a family but it was pushed to the back as LāManberg became an issue and eventually because of everything they just forgot about it.
By the time Dream is thrown in prison, they havenāt talked for a month or so, Dreams last visit had been a bit steamy but they thought nothing of it, and then George starts getting sick.
He knows instantly that heās pregnant, and has to deal with the fact that he cannot tell Dream out of fear, not sure if itās fear for himself, for the people working in the prison or if itās just a stupid hormonal reaction. He wants to visit, to tell Dream, but he also wants to hide, knowing how the sever may want to use their child to bait or hurt Dream and himself, so he hides and sleeps.
Dream in prison has no idea whatās happening, obviously, but he gets weird coded messages from XD and feels deep in his bones that something is up.
In the 9 months that Dream is in prison, people see George less and less. He did hover around the prison, too scared to go in, but eventually he disappears, everyone knows heās asleep somewhere in Kinoko so they leave him be.
When Dream finally escapes with Techno, he goes with him to heal for a while, maybe a month or so, before going and finding George.
George had moved from Kinoko silently before Dreams escape to an old house that he and Dream built back in the early days to just relax in, which eventually became a safe haven for either of them to go to if it got dangerous. He has the baby here and tries to look after them with depleting supplies that he canāt go and refill.
Dream looks for Kinoko, eventually learning from Sapnap that George wasnāt there but if he was, Dream still wouldnāt have a chance of getting through, so instead he goes to this house in the middle of nowhere, a dusty compass in the bottom of his ender chest leads the way.
George hears someone approaching the house one day, but calms down realising it can only be Dream, before freaking out because itās Dream who didnāt know George was pregnant and he has no idea how heāll react.
Dream walks through the door, tired after a month of searching for George and finds⦠the house empty. Disheartened, he sits on the edge of the bed and notices the trapdoor to the cellar haphazardly closed.
Climbing down into the dark, itās silent, and Dream nearly leaves until a small whimper echoes from the corner.
He pulls out his axe first, and a torch second, dropping the axe when he realises its George holding a baby close to his chest.
The baby starts crying, startled by the noise, and George quickly shushes them, turning to Dream with a glint of fear in his eyes, Dreamās heart breaks. Knowing that the child is his, and that the love of his life fears what he will do to them.
i was so invested in this i forgot i wasnāt reading a fanfiction lord iām coming up

Do you ever think about how George took a chance in Dream out of university? He could've probably had a decently paying job, but no, there was this young American guy that promised him the world and without thinking about it, George agreed. No questions asked. And it would take him years to even see the other guy. But George didn't care because he trusts and loves Dream with his whole being. He would live in a timezone 5 hours behind his own, sleep during the day, live during the night, just so they could spend more time with each other. And when time was right he would leave his whole entire life behind to move in with Dream whom he had never met before. And ever since then, even though their world has exploded multiple times, they have never left each others side. Side by side, forever.

At the beginning of my time in this fandom, I did ask myself why George said yes to all of this. He must have had many other, much more comfortable options.
And then there was this young, inexperienced guy who must have dreamed of an audience, of a community, of success, of everything they could imagine. And George must have known that despite all the confidence, despite all the hours of studying an algorithm, there was no guarantee for this. And there would never be.
So why did he agree so easily to something so uncertain? Well, you see, success wasn't everything this guy promised.
Before anything else, he promised to do it together. Chase wild hopes together, maybe climb the highest mountains of success together, maybe fail spectacularly together. But whatever may come, they'd be together.
So yes, I did think about why George took this chance, this risk. And I don't think it was because he got promised a dream. I think he did it because he got promised Dream.
sorry i said i was feeling better but now everyone saying āgeorge said he didnāt want to disclose it for her sakeā and implying that he means he touched her breastsā¦i took that comment as meaning she talked about being a virgin and inexperienced so he didnāt want to speak about that since HIS experience was revealed by her (unnecessarily i might add, there was no fucking need for her to mention when george lost his virginity and that pisses me off so bad)
This is actually real trust me
gonna get to the bottom of the issue
