Perhaps one of you may ask about my plan in case I reach the goal and collect the full amount of donations. What will I do? If I manage to raise the required amount, I will use it to cover all the essential expenses, including the cost of passports, rent, living expenses, healthcare, and money transfers to Gaza. I will also allocate part of the donations to secure continuous education for my children and ensure a better future for them. I will be very grateful to everyone who contributed to this campaign, and I will work hard to provide a better life for my family in the difficult circumstances we are living in.

Beneath the ashen skies and the sorrowful sea,

Our greatest achievement has become getting a bag of flour. The childrenโs joy over it is as if it were a dear guestโor perhaps their only hope after the world has let them down, leaving them to sleep with empty stomachs and cold limbs ๐๐.
If only the world knew that our children crave everything or that they have forgotten the sight of vegetables, meat, and sweets...

As I sat with my children at night, all huddled together under the only blanket we have to feel a warmth this tent cannot provide, we decided to forget the cold, the darkness, and the long, freezing night. Instead, we shared stories and talked together. I asked my children to share what was on their innocent minds and be completely honest with me.
Kareem said, โI wish we were rich so we could buy sugar and put it in our tea. Iโd use three whole spoons!โ His eyes sparkled with imagination as he finished, โOh, how I wish for that.โ
His older brother laughed and said, โThatโs not what rich people wish for, silly! Listen to me and learn how to dream big.โ Then Walid said, โI wish for a sports outfit like Ronaldoโs, a football, and some proper cleats. Itโs such a hard dream to achieve, but maybe one dayโฆโ
Their little sister Maryam interrupted excitedly, โI wish for a birthday cake on my next birthday. Youโve missed it twice now, and the war has gone on for so long that Iโve forgotten what cakes even look like. And I want a fancy giftโa doll to play with so I wonโt feel bored.โ
Hearing their wishes broke my heart more than the war, the cold, or this tent ever could. Their dreams, which used to be simple, everyday things, have now become nearly impossible to achieve.
This cursed war has destroyed the dreams of children, turning their basic rights into distant, unattainable wishes.
