Okay so ORIGINALLY… BOTH Adrien and Marinette were going to be Akumatised,,,,, and then I couldn’t think of a way for it to kind of resolve itself without it also being a “Hawkmoth goes down” comic, which means it’d be a “Adrien finds out Hawkmoth is Gabriel” comic, and DUDE that is too much.

Spider-Man has always been my favorite Marvel character because every iteration of spidey has given me a sense of my only real limitations being self imposed ones. “Into the Spider-Verse” really captured this feeling and I’m so glad everyone got to see the energy of these characters and we’re carrying this energy into 2019 because anyone can wear the mask!

A few reasons why Jonathan Crombie will always be The Definitive Gilbert Blythe

1-His Birthday is in October- enough said!

2-His Mom’s name is Shirley Ann (yes, no ‘E’- but- its still cool!)

3-Jonathan chose to do The Continuing Story instead of going back to do plays at the Stratford Festival

“Megan was already attached when they approached me.  I was set to go back to Stratford, but decided if they were going ahead, and Megan was a part of it, I should be as well.”

4-He never tried to give the Definitive portrayal- it just happened

“But ultimately, the script served as my main source—and I tried to remain faithful to that.  If I had worried about trying to portray the “definitive” Gilbert from the books, I think it would have really messed me up.”

5- Unlike a majority actors who have portrayed Gilbert on screen, Jonathan is Canadian.

I JUST NOTICED ANOTHER PARALLEL

Here it it! The first chapter! I’m really excited to start sharing this story, it’s been in my head for so long and with the movie finally being out and consuming my soul and my money, this seems like a perfect solution.
