I always felt bad for the Mutos in Godzilla (2014). They emerge in an unknown world trying to reach the only person they can trust. Then they’re hunted by a giant laser shooting lizard. Despite their best efforts they lose their kids and both DIE! Yeah they’re parasites, but they’re valid!! JUSTICE FOR THE CUTE BUG COUPLE!!

To be fair, they did disturb Godzilla from his peaceful slumber by making mating calls and being noisy. I’d be pissed if someone were to bother me in my sleep too.

There was no background music in this scene. It was just his heart rate and the pulsations from his spikes lighting up the area he was swimming through. He was the only lightsource in the darkness of the ocean and it was just so majestic. Something about large creatures swimming in the ocean just makes me excited.
