But when we see them on screen, they're badass, but absolutely RIDICULOUS

Owen?

Monologues to Dom for several minutes and gets to live out his life time dream of being a melodramatic villain

Deckard?

Doesn't even manage to kill one member of the crew, but manages to bring down how many buildings? How many explosions did he cause?

Hattie?

Immediately gets a wig and fights a guy 2 heads taller than her, and 3 times her weight. And she keeps fighting! The whole time delivering quips!

These three can be excellent spies/criminals/badasses, but when it comes down to it, all three are attention seekers

When they know they have someone to flaunt to, they will

Usually to potential mates

So, basically.

The Shaws are peacocks

Loud, obnoxious, and extremely noticeable when they want to be

Deckard: I love you

If you've been watching me streams, you'll be hearing how I've been binge watching Hell's Kitchen lately lol. I just love the idea of Deckard being a contestant!

Deckard stood with the other constantants of Hell's Kitchen, all waiting for that day's challenge

So far, the competition was going smoothly. Deckard had taken control of his team easily, teaching them better methods and settling tempers

It was satisfying to see the group of men coming together to work as a unit under his tutelage. He even talked with the women after their challenges go coach them

He could tell the producers of the show hated his guts

They wanted drama, not every waking hour they had of Deckard bringing everyone together

At least Ramsay loved him and his cooking

Deckard could talk hours with the Scotsman and never grow bored. Especially when they talked about their kids

Even thinking about Sam and Luke made Deckard's heart pang. He missed them so much. He couldn't wait until he could cook for them again

Suddenly, Ramsay was walking towards them. Deckard straightened his back

"Today, none of you will be allowed to cook anything."

Deckard raised an eyebrow

"Instead," Ramsay smiled, "you'll be teaching someone else to cook."

Deckard had to hold back his smile. This would be too easy

"And I'm sure you'll recognize you students."

With a wave of his hand, a line of people walked into the dining room. Deckard heard several gasps and cries of joy as Ramsay introduced the contestants family members

And that's when Deckars spotted him

Owen

The little bastard was lined up with the other family members, smirking like crazy and keeping eye contact with Deckard

Who glared at his little brother

"Today's challenge, you'll have to instruct your family member how to cook a dish. Simple enough, yeah?"

Deckard glared harder at Owen

Owen smiled back smugly

"Well, what are you waiting for? Get going!"

Everyone ran for the kitchens

"Next, Deckard and his little brother, Owen." Ramsay called out and waved to them

So far, it had been a close tie between the teams and Deckard would break it one way or another

As he and Owen stepped up, Deckard kept his face neutral. This was going to be... entertaining

"Please show me what you made." Ramsay said and Owen lifted the metal dome

To reveal a plate of random fruit cut up

Ramsay's face was filled with shock

Owen was smiling proudly

Deckard hung his head

Seemed like the producers knew how to get him off the show

WHY IS POST PLUS/POST+ SO BAD?

Tumblr’s primary focus is on FAN content (whether any of us want to admit it or not). Putting these kinds of contents behind patreon like paywalls is a terrible idea and the legality is NOT in the user or their subscribers favor. You can absolutely get in legal trouble for what tumblr is proposing with this new feature. There’s also the worry about the site’s (poor) security and access to Post Plus users bank information. Do you really want a site that lacks a functioning search function and whose userbase routinely get hacked to have your credit card information? No, you really don’t.

WILL THIS WORK?

Maybe, maybe not. It’s an attempt at doing something to combat tumblr’s impending self-inflicted demise.

Hello Omni! Happy Friday! I gotta prompt: Roman asks Owen what was going through his mind when he did a Thing™️ and is left even more baffled by his boyfriend’s thought process than before!

Hello friend! Happy Friday!

I can absolutely see this happening so many times in their relationship! And between Owen and his siblings!

Roman sat across from Owen, both sitting at the dining room table. He had his head in his hands and sighed loudly. He could hear Owen fidget across from him, but he didn't dare say a word

Mostly because he knew he was in trouble with Roman

After a few more long minutes of silence, Roman finally lifted his head and looked at his boyfriend. Who looked back nervously, but tried to hide behind a mask of nonchalance

"Owen." Roman said levelly

"Yes, love?"

Roman narrowed his eyes

"Why is there a bear sitting in my living room?"

Owen sent him a nervous smile

"Well, it's simple really."

"Really? Explain it to me then."

Owen glanced away and bit his lip. This was one of the only times Roman has seen Owen act like this. Any other time, Owen would be cocky and have no regrets

"Well, you know I love animals, so I had decided to go out to the local dog park. There's was a really nice chap who had a few large dogs. We started talking and apparently he works for an animal rehabilitation facility."

Roman nodded along to the story so far

"He invited me to visit a few of the animals, saying that the wolves were friendly. I wanted to meet them, and when we did, I saw they were well taken care of. They adored me."

Owen said this last part with pride, and Roman raised an eyebrow

"The man was called away for something, so I got bored and wondered around the place. That's when I fell upon Stu. He was abandoned by his mother and was being bottle fed by one of the workers."

Roman narrowed his eyes

"He was just too adorable to let him stay there, Ro! I remember that my cousin knew someone who owns a bear rehabilitation center in Russia. So, I decided Stu would enjoy being there much better."

Roman stared

"You'd think it'd be hard to steal a bear cub, but it was quite easy. Stu cuddled into my chest with ease and I was able to sneak him out."

"And thought my penthouse would be a great place to keep him." Roman said dryly

"Well, of course." Owen frowned. "Nobody would question why we're having formula or fish brought here. And this would be the last place they'll look."

Roman sighed and scrubbed a hand down his face

"Did you think about how I would react, Oh?"

"You love animals!"

"Not wild ones!"

Owen pouted at him

"Stu is well trained and loves to cuddle, he wouldn't hurt a fly."

"He's a wild animal that has specific needs, Owen! He can't be cooped up in a penthouse."

"It'll only be for a short while before my cousin can send him to his friend."

"Who we don't even know is any good at taking care of bears!" Roman snapped and saw Owen tense. Sighing, Roman shook his head. "You need to take him back."

"But-!"

"Owen!" Roman raised his voice. "He was doing quite fine at that facility! You just wanted to steal something!"

Owen glared harshly at him

Roman didn't say anything else as Owen stood up roughly and stormed out of the room

Head in his hands again, Roman could hear Owen playing with the bear cub in his living room

Why the hell did he get with a Shaw?

Owen is a freeloader and Luke doesn't hesitate to call him out on it

Problem: Jason Statham has 2 decades on Vanessa Kirby and yet in a flashback in Hobbs & Shaw their characters are shown as being close in age.

Easy solution: Hattie is aging incredibly well & is much older than she appears

Funny solution: Deckard is actually in his mid thirties and is aging like pure shit because his life is hell and the stress is causing him to shrivel up like an apple doll
