TURKEY IS BEING BURNT DOWN! and It’s not a natural disaster, it’s arson. literal terror. a crime. there are 81 fires going on in 23 different cities. this has been going on for 2 days. people are dying, losing their homes.

helicopters, drones, planes and thousands of firemen are currently trying to control fires in 10 different locations in southern Turkey. so far, three people have died, hundreds of animals have perished and several settlements are being evacuated.

A WHOLE country is on fire please that is not something you can underestimate.

Ten bad experiences with men doesn’t give you the right to judge the entire gender.

Not a hundred, or a million or any number of bad experiences with men. Unless you’ve personally met every single man on the planet and had a bad experience with them, you have no right to judge the entire gender.

Same goes with white people, straight people, cis people, or any group of people that exists. No amount of bad experiences gives you the right to express bigotry towards an entire gender and absolve you of your bigotry unless you’ve met every person in that group.

trans people who make fun of other trans people for the sake of cis approval make me so mad cause although yes, not having to worry about cishet approval is a form of privilege, we didn't gain our current rights by "acting normal". we didn't gain allies by obeying to cisnormativity. do you seriously think people like trump give a fuck about whether you're a ""crazy sjw kitty/kittyself trender"" or not? transphobia isn't gonna suddenly stop existing if trans people stop expressing ourselves the way we want. neopronouns, xenogenders, trendercore [the aesthetic] and gender non conformity isn't what causes transphobia. bigotry and lack of education is. bringing down other trans people & forcing your insecurities and internalised transphobia on them isn't helping, you're literally just tearing our community apart.
