Stuck inside (again) with storms, heat and viruses swirling outside. Good news is that’s giving me plenty of time to serve up two mixes for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. … Looking forward to the wedding. Only today am I beginning to realize how huge it is. (Honestly, the only way I haven’t freaked out about it is to put it in the back of my mind and remember that paper covers rock.) Links TK (probably tomorrow).

New journey
Beginning what I hope is my final journey. It began with a new phone, which I almost broke right out of the box, but now I’m all new! (If I can get the nausea under control, then I’ll really be on my way!)
Questions
These would be some of the first questions I would ask you:
1. What is your relationship with God?
2. How many cats do you have?
3. What are their names?
4. What is (are) your favorite kind(s) of food?
5. If you had one wish (and couldn’t ask for more wishes), what would it be?
Let me back up
There are things I couldn’t say in my letters that I would want to tell you in person before I asked the other questions I mentioned. Of course, the first question would be -- will you go out with me?

This is dedicated to all the artists, survivors and everyone else who was a few steps away from love. ... I still keep a temp tattoo (made by a black marker) to remind me of the people I love -- and to help me write and figure out which hand is which.

Back in the day, these were my jams. (And I had a pair of ugly, ugly shorts that were actually called JAMS. Go figure.)
Cancer is exhausting. I refuse to quit trying to improve, but I often feel like I’m trying to defy everything. My life has become such a blur, and now (one good thing) is that I’m hungry until I can eat no more and then get nauseous and it becomes one evil loop.
I’m one of those stubborn people who at least like to fool myself into thinking I can do everything by myself, but I know that’s not true. There is no game when you’re alone. It’s just you (me) and my lonely thoughts. I often keep the TV on for background noise (and then I find myself passionately agreeing or disagreeing about whatever they’re saying). And for the record, I refuse to watch Fox News because they’re usually so out there, but I do find myself watching Fox Business at night. How I digressed from cancer to loud TV only the good Lord knows. (There are some things I just don’t want to know!)
