Uhm, would it be possible to do a letter from both Luke Skywalker and Din Djarin? Like not at the same time but a romantic one where the reader is in a polygamous relationship with both of them for your 1200 follower celebration? If not a romantic one with Luke is just fine. Something sweet, lots of pet names maybe spicy but not a necessity. I’m 24 but I don’t know if you can tell by my blog. If you can’t like I said spicy isn’t necessary. I work in a care home for the mentally disabled helping care for people who can’t care for themselves and when I’m home I work on a novel I’m writing. I’d love if either of those could be mentioned in it. I don’t really have anything specific in mind other than maybe mentioning my hobby of painting landscapes. Maybe I painted Luke or Din one in it? I dunno.
This was an interesting idea so I came up with a bit of a twist on my original idea. Instead of a written letter, let’s say Luke was recording a message for you and Din just couldn’t stay silent and had to chime in. They’re on a mission together for the New Republic…
Luke: waving to the camera Hi love! We hope you’re doing good at home. This mission is off to an interesting start.
Din: leaning into view with a sigh If by interesting you mean we got lost and almost crashed, then yeah, it’s been interesting.
Luke: pushes Din lightly Now, now, don’t upset our sweetheart, we’re all fine, totally fine. Things might not have started well but they’re on track now.
Din: skeptical huff
Luke: sheepish smile So anyway, love, we’re here and we’re good, but we miss you very much. I hope your work isn’t too stressful today. You’re so kind and you take such good care of the people there.
Din: They’re lucky to have you, cyar’ika. He nods to emphasize his statement
Luke: all smiles Yes, just like we are.
Din: Just remember to take care of yourself too. We don’t want you to wear yourself out.
Luke: Yes, maybe take some time to do some painting, it always seems to relax you. And you know how much I’m looking forward to seeing that one with Din and me that you’ve been working on.
Din: You’re very talented, cyar’ika.
Luke: You’re incredible, sweetheart, we both appreciate seeing the art you create. He shivers a bit It’s getting a little chilly here, I wish you could be here for cuddles. I guess I’ll just have to make do with our tin can man here.
Din: does his oh really? helmet tilt I’ll make us a fire, I wouldn’t want your little butt to freeze. He chuckles and looks at the camera I wish you were here too, cyar’ika, you’re much softer and you smell the best out of all three of us.
Luke: sticks his tongue out at Din and starts a fire with his lightsaber
Din: laughs Well, look at that, our Jedi has many tricks up his sleeve. You don’t have to worry, cyar’ika, we won’t be too cold without you, but we will miss you like crazy.
Luke: softly smiling we’ll be home soon, sweetheart but until then remember how much I love you.
Din: I love you too, cyar’ika, with all my heart.

I came up with a new saying:
"You wouldn't bake a cat just because it jumped into the oven."
It means that just having a really, really good opportunity to do something awful is not an excuse to do it. That it isn't enough that you never go out of your way to do evil, you're also supposed to go out of your way to do the right thing, even in situations where the wrong thing to do would be extremely easy and profitable, and passively allowing it to happen would be easier than going out of your way to do better than that.

In My Dreams, Shadow’s Call (You’re the Light at the End of the Hall) snippet/ WIP Wednesday
“Okay, just a bit of mascara and you’re done okay?” Winter asked.
Luke nodded. He was so nervous. Even if he wasn’t getting a bad feeling with the force, he felt this was a bad idea. A thousand what ifs ran through his head. The worst of which was “what if Din hated this side of him after he saw it?”
“Flutter your lashes for a minute.” Winter said.
Like but his lip and did as he was told. Winter moved her hand to the other side of his face once he was done.
“Again.” She said.
Luke once again did as he was told. Meanwhile Leia let out a loud “aha” and triumphantly pulled out a dress from her wardrobe. Luke didn’t dare look until Leia was ready to show him. He’d made that mistake before and had to attend a ball with a black eye and Leia had to take anger management classes. He knew Leia wouldn’t hit him again, but she would probably shave his stuffed toys in his sleep. Or maybe she’d finally give up on being petty. In three years she’d be queen after all.
“There, you’re done.” Winter said, capping the mascara.
“Before you look, put this on!” Leia cried rushing over with the gown.
Luke gasped. It was a miniature version of their mother’s lakeside gown. Instead of the usual yellow, pink, purple it went from white to a sky blue. Luke tried not to cry. Leia knew that his favorite of all their mom’s dresses was the lakeside one.
“You have no clue how hard it was hiding this from you.” Leia said. “Rae-Lye spent months working on this for you. We’re lucky she used to be a tailor.”
Luke blinked in surprise. Din’s mom had made this for him? She’d been in on Leia’s plan? Luke couldn’t believe it. He ran his hand over the fabric. It seemed so well made, he’d have expected their usual tailor to have made it. A grin broke out on his face as he pictured Rae-Lye working on the dress in the servants quarters after a long day of work just to surprise him. He’d have to do something nice for her as a thank you.
He hurried to get changed. He was excited to put the dress on. To look like his mother. To wear something his best friend's mom had made just for him. It might be a bit tame for a ball, but he wanted to wear it regardless. He could dress it up with a shawl or cape like his mother did.
“How do I look?” Luke asked, giving a twirl and he stepped out from behind the privacy screen.
“Gorgeous!” Leia said, clapping her hands. “Come look at your makeup!”
Luke walked over to the mirror and gasped at his reflection. Winter had done an all natural look, except for the eyeliner which added a pop of sky blue to his face. He loved the way he looked. It was definitely better than when he did it, but then again Winter was trained to do makeup and he wasn’t.
Leia post in honor of Carrie Fisher’s passing which was 7 years ago today.

Okay so has anyone done like a DinLuke Anastasia AU? Because honestly I was listening to the Anastasia Broadway soundtrack (again) instead of my usual DinLuke playlist and like all I can think is this au.
Like Padmé and Anakin are King and Queen of Naboo, with the royal twins Luke and Leia. Don’s parents are servants who moved to Naboo from Aq Ventina and got jobs in the palace. Din is like only a few years older than Luke in this as opposed to their cannon age gap. Because of this they often hang out (I doubt Padmé or Anakin would have issue with him being friends with the hired helps kid just given who they are) Luke is Din’s best friend, but Luke’s beat friend is forever and always his twin sister Leia, though Din is a close second. Both have a crush on each other, but neither voice it.
Then when Luke is eleven and Din is like fourteen, not quite a full on revolution but enough people are unhappy with things that a group of them Storm the palace and kill Anakin and Padmé. Leia escapes with Bail Organa and is adopted by him, but Luke isn’t as lucky. Din helps him into the servants quarters, but Luke drops the music box his mom had made when he and Leia were babies. Din goes back for it, but witnesses his parents being executed for refusing to give up the twins location causing him to black out and stay separated from Luke. Luke meanwhile escapes, but falls down a hill and hits his head losing his memories. The next day a kind old lady finds him and offers to help him find somewhere to stay.
“What’s your name child?”
“I think it’s Lu…. Lu… Luka?”
“Very well Luka, let’s find you somewhere warm for the night”
Fast forward ten years, things have gotten worse, Luke is struggling to find and keep a job, Din WAS a Mandalorian, but they aren’t very welcome around Naboo anymore after one of them was involved with the murder of the King and Queen and disappearance of the Prince. He has Grogu still, but he’s a human in this au because I say so. He’s mute and likely the Star Wars equivalent of a nonverbal autistic. Grogu doesn’t like the helmet much either, he doesn’t like not seeing his dad’s face, so the helmet (and the rest of the armor) goes.
Greef and Cara come up with the plan to fool Leia, who is offering a reward for anyone who can return her brother to her. (She knows he’s alive because she can sense him in the force) Din wants no part in it, but is struggling with money and affording to care for Grogu and the amount of money offered, even split between them, would be life changing. So he, reluctantly, goes along.
The group eventually meet Luke, hoping to get off world and find his family, and agree he looks just like the missing prince (no duh). Greef and Cara are elated that Luke has no memories and just wants to find his family meaning no extra split in the reward. Din on the other hand feels bad for taking advantage of someone who looks just like his best friend. Luke for his part, recognizes Din, but can’t figure out how he knows him, or how he knows his name.
The group begins making plans to leave Naboo. Din is left with Luke and Grogu. Luke asks Din if they could have met when they were kids because he feels like he’s met him before. Din confesses he was very close to the prince before he went missing and how he was his best friend. Luke asks if he believes he’s really the prince and Din admits he doesn’t know. He doesn’t want to believe his best friend would have forgotten him. Luke reminds him that he can’t remember anyone or anything from before he was eleven. (Cue in my dreams sequence) Luke accidentally floats some things making Din believe he might just be the prince. (Force users are rare and even rarer would be someone who looks so similar to Luke with force sensitivity)
After months of traveling via shuttles (no one has a ship) Din, feeling guilty eventually confesses everything to Luke, who he’s started falling in love with. Luke confronts Greef and Cara about using him to get a reward and trying to con someone who is just looking for her brother. Luke agrees to continue with them, but only to see if Leia is his sister and as he doesn’t trust Greef or Cara anymore he doesn’t want to see them afterwards. Din promises to help Luke find his family if Leia isn’t his sister and the two end up spending the night together.
Meanwhile Bail convinces Leia to give up the search, at least temporarily for her sake.
Stuff happens, Luke and Leia reunite, Luke gets his memory back, Din realizes Luka and Luke are the same person when talking with Luke results in him remembering the time Luke convinced his parents to let Din ride in the parade with them. Someone tries to kill Luke and Leia, Din stops them. Din and Luke get together, Luke adopts Grogu and the three decide to live a quiet life though Luke remains close to Leia.

It had been a good day, overall for Din. You had to understand, the fire in the kitchen wasn’t their fault. Kind of, and Luke had used his powers to put it out quickly. The scolding they’d gotten for it was a small price to pay for all the pasties they’d managed to snag from the kitchen. Which led to where they were now. Sitting in Luke’s room gobbling down their stolen stash of snacks, giggling like a couple of idiots.
When Din and his family had first moved to Naboo’s capital city Theed five years ago, he’d never imagined his best friend would be the prince his family served. If you had told nine year old him he’d be allowed to call the then six year old prince by his first name he’d have called you crazy. Luke was his best friend, the King, Anakin, treated him like a second son. It was more than he could have dreamed of. Still, as he glanced at Luke, with filling on his cheek, he couldn’t help but wish they were older.
Din grinned before leaning over and licking the filling off Luke’s cheek.
“Ack! Din what the heck?!” Luke cried.
“Consider it payback for that time you were convinced you were part tooka and felt the need to groom me like one.” Din said.
“What the heck?” Luke said, laughing and shoving him. “I was like, six!”
“Exactly! I waited five years for my revenge.” Din said laughing.
“What? You’re so mean!” Luke cried.
“You love it though.” Din teased.
“Love? Who-who said anything about love?!” Luke asked. “Y-you’re crazy!”
‘Well, that was a weird reaction.’ Din thought, putting another pastry in his mouth.
Luke, for his part, had buried his face in his hands and pulled his knees to his chest. Something he only did when he was embarrassed. Din assumed it was because of his reaction. He held out a pastry, trying to cheer him up

Since a few people asked, I will be working on the DinLuke Anastasia Au and posting it on Ao3. I’m calling it In My Dreams, Shadows Call (You’re the Light at the End of the Hall) based on a line from my favorite song from the Broadway musical. My younger sister is helping co-write it because I was overwhelmed by the fact people actually want to see this. She doesn’t have an ao3 account (that I know of) and isn’t writing entire chapters, just parts of them. If the writing style suddenly changes, that’s why.
