Flatland AU rambling below:
In my AU, regular polygons have congruent marks surgically placed in men to solidify their shape, and place in society for jobs and such. The exception being women, irregulars, and circles.
Those who DON’T have congruent marks can morph their form to a degree both consciously and subconsciously. In Flatland, this is naturally seen as taboo as your place in society is determined by your shape. Therefore, don’t startle a Circle. (Meaning you should TOTALLY not keep out of a Circle’s line of sight and announce your presence from behind.) Circles will spike up like a pufferfish when startled.

VERY COOL CHARACTERR, I LIKE HER ROLE
I wanted to add about "I kinda thought it would be funny if I made a character that only appears like once with a single line based on the fic and then dies brutally"… Very familiar plot. Giza as additional character to the same fanfic was first conceived as that mysterious lady with her own business, with whom Nora spoke in the same "Utopia", then as the daughter of that provider with whom Bill collaborated (it would have been another temporary foster family in her life buut yeah).
Now I'm in thought, but stillll
Behold! My flatland/gravity falls oc in honor of the Book of Bill coming out soon. And finally, some explained lore!
TW: Ref sheet contains slight gore and blood, body horror (Linked under)
Loreen 'Ipsum' Loremere is a woman (of course) and by such a basis, a line among all flatlanders, despite how much she hates being considered one with her biological gender- once a woman, always a woman.
Born not too long before the third millennium, she was born two a suprisingly happy family near the southern edge of flatland, even if her father was an illegal runaway that had come from a higher class, and a mother who was just as low class as anyone working class in the slums. She grew up relatively normally, and was raised into the family buisness of running a family owned inn and tavern, under her father's alias- Loremere, which is taken to be her last name alongside the one her mother had, Ipsum. (Yes. The last name ipsum is a pun, kinda intended her to be like semi-npc like)
Corresponding to the plot of flat dreams, Loreen is originally encountered as a barmaid working shift at "Utopia". I kinda thought it would be funny if I made a character that only appears like once with a single line based of the fic and then dies brutally. She was never close to Bill, and had bad vibes from him since they ever met, and since Loreen had to drag Nora off of someone's throat.
It turns out she was right. Once Bill came back from interdimensional jail, Loreen unfortunately died in the crossfire (cough cough, Pyronica) protecting her family, which ultimately came to no avail.
She exists as a spirit now, occasionally 'leaking' out from the remains of the second dimension, and is relatively harmless. More of a guiding spirit that leads children back home to their families, mourning the loss of her own. She still absolutely loathes Bill though. (My girl holds a NASTY grudge)
She's so silly!! I tried to cram as much lore as possible into a short summary, and enjoy trying to comprehend my handwriting!
