Guess what I watched...
These two definitely have something in common, you can see it, right?
And this two too...
In conclusion, all of them need to go to therapy
And this is live footage of how I make my art-
Walking through the streets reminds them of the time they used to walk together as children.
( mini version of this drawing)
More art n comics below. My art is set in my own adaptation of the book, with loose inspiration taken from the 2007 movie :P
A-Line poked a hole through 2d space and slipped into the 3rd dimension, escaping her murder charges. Good for her!
@ranmagender :)
[ID: A short, silent animation showing a large pentagon house from Flatland, with text reading, "A house in Flatland has two doors." The large door on the lower left is highlighted in blue, labeled, "The Men's door, for shapes", with small figures of a circle, hexagon, pentagon, square, and severran triangles shown. Then the smaller door on the right is highlighted, labeled, "The Women's door, for Straight Lines", with three straight lines shown.
Then text read across the bottom, "But what about nonbinary people?" above a blue and red sphere seen from above, a straight line, a five-pointed star, a pentagon, an irregular line, a square, and a thin triangle. A blue question mark is in the center of the house to show the confusion.
"Well..." the text says, as the nonbinary shapes appear at the top right wall, then continues, "You see..." as the nonbinary people begin to back up out of frame. Then they charge forward, motion-blurred with speed, and break through the wall, causing a cloud of dust to come up. As the dust fades, we see the wall broken inward and the nonbinary people standing inside the house. A blue line then highlights the new hole in the wall, and says with a smiley emoticon, "They're custom-made". End ID.]
most of the wait time was me trying to figure out how to crop this lol...
also on youtube :) and the internet archive.
I tested a new brush! What do you think?
I think it looks really cool!
collection of all my completed ref sheets Yes a lot of them probably look different from how I actually draw them but i can never consistently draw flatties
I made this and then instantly forgot I made it.
Here you go, an entire month after I drew it.
A Flatland mouse being chased by a cat, which is being chased by the ancestor of a dog, which is being followed by human hunters.
[ID: A simple digital drawing for the setting of Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, showing a group of three people following a dog, which chases a cat, which chases a mouse. All of them are two-dimensional beings that we look down on from above, so that we can see their insides, which are blobs in different shades of pink, purple, and red. The three humans are different geometric shapes with purple blood and grey exoskeletons. One is an almost right triangle, one is a diamond, and one is a shape almost like a quill or old-fashioned ink pen. Rather than limbs, they each have multiple pairs of thin black cillia for swimming. The dog they are chasing is light grey, with five tentacle-like fins in place of legs and tail. Its mouth is in the center of its head, with an eye and a spike on either side reminescent of ears.
The cat is orange and white, and of similar layout to the dog, but smaller, skinnier, and with a more pointed mouth and four spikes on its head rather than two. From the front of its head extend thin cillia like whiskers. The mouse is the smallest, and is grey, with a rounded body and thin cillia like the humans rather than fins. End ID.]
