Here's the AU that's been rattling around my head recently: what if Mobius worked for SHIELD during Avengers and got mind controlled by Loki?

After Loki uses the scepter on Clint, he does it to this guy. I was rewatching this scene for a slightly different project but then the brainworms took over.

I forget if people still retain their personalities when controlled by the scepter but I'm imagining that Mobius is still himself, just on Loki's side. And Loki starts to unwillingly like him over the course of the movie plot. After Loki is defeated and isn't under the influence of the mind stone, his punishment is having to work with the Avengers and SHIELD. So then he and Mobius are coworkers and it's awkward because Mobius keeps trying to be friendly and Loki is convinced that he must hate him for what he did.

In Oklahoma, a non-binary high schooler was severely beaten and died from their injuries. Their name was Nex Benedict. It was a failure from multiple points: the bullies, their parents, the school not seeking treatment for the student, and the state school superintendent for encouraging hate toward LGBTQIA+ individuals.

As a parent in the state, and a parent to multiple kids that identify as lgbtqia+, the very real fear that these things will happen to my own family (and extended to orher kids i care for) because this use of hateful rhetoric is, in a large part, the most useless thing only designed to gain favor from undereducated individuals in a desperate bid for tiny amounts of power.

There is no freedom while hating people that don't prescribe to your own religious or other systems of belief. Seeing this entire country slide backward, i'd say by now we are looking at a loss of 40 or more years of progress, depending on which rights you examine. Why is this being allowed to happen?

I am ready for the majority in America, who doesn't want to impose limits on other people's freedom, to change the trajectory of this country. In the meantime, I will do what i can to make that change, butI will continue to look at houses in other countries, because what can i do in the end but protect my own people?

Sign a petition to get the Oklahoman school superintendent, who has gone out of his way to harm lgbtqia+ teachers and students, all in a bid to make a name for himself amongst right wing fuckheads, removed.
