Caught in a landslide, no escape from reality the orchestra
On today's menu, the original Fantasia all the way back from 1940. Frankly its good! Disney put their whole disnussy into making each segment disctinct and visually interesting.
But how do they fare against each other?
Don't get me wrong, the segments are each their own thing, but with a runtime of 2h there is only so much attention you can hold. The orchestra is phenomenal and will also lull you into sleep (or trance state which honestly might have been the intention as well?) So what shoul you be awake for?
There are bound to be some hits and misses (Sorcerers Apprentice being quite good even today) so lets go through them all.
I would have also included a gif of my best boy Sountrack, but you can guess how hard is to google for him. He is in my heart at least
A whole new world game A new fantastic point of view No one to tell us no Or where to go Or say we're only dreaming
Kingdom Hearts 3 has been out for a while already, but that will not deter us about talking bout it. We are trendsetters like that ^_+
So what is KH3? What we are documenting today is:
The Worlds The Gameplay - Summons - Rides - Party Members The Villains The Plot And our overall enjoyement of course.
That is if i can contain myself from talking about end game spoilers in the earlier sections of the video. Im luckly to have Fredrik to rein me in.
Its time to discuss the potential future of Kingdom Hearts! Or well.... bluesky our own wishes and make up interpretations of the teasers we had so far.
With the reveal of fictional worlds is any of this for real? Or not? What about Verum Rex? Whill KH become FF15? What is the Ancient Keyblade legacy anyway? And whats in the box Scott Cawthon Nomura???
And also! This episode that made me redownload KH Unchained X/Dark Road.
KH X: good! Love having access to all accesories with none of the grind. Super easy to go through cutscenes, but you might fall out of order like in Wreck in Ralph world (since some of the scenes take place in different worlds).
Dark Road: Interesting start, but the grind is unbeliveably terrible. I dont want to keep cheking my phone if i got knocked out or not. I guess i am not the audience for idle games so its cutscenes on youtube for me (ʘᴥʘ).
The gang has split and moved on from their mystery hunting days, but when a new opportunity presents itself the scooby gang is trust back into action - but this time danger may be in fact be more real than not. Also look at this Daphne she is so cool!!
Imo a pretty good movie perfect for a seasonal watch. The setting is wonderful and even with nostalgia glasses off it holds up!
On another note, im usually only linking our Spotify, but we do host it on youtube with slides!
Wake the f**k up, Spartan! We have a city to save.
How did the folks imagine our action packed future back in 1993? Look no futher than Demolition Man, all the way back from 1997!
Its funny how the distant 2032 is only 8 years away. Sheesh :(
Anyway i felt the need for some adrenaline kicks, so a Sylvester Stallone flick was in order. Is fun to count in how many ways some of the things came in fact true: like AI, self driving cars, or sanitization of online and irl spaces. Also while we dont have full dive in neura links yet, our VR guys are working overtime on it, Yippie!
It's not entirely dystopian for us yet, so what is this movie trying to tell us? What steps can we take to stop this grim future from becoming true? Liberty babes, as in how much we are willing to part with it for convinience. oof.
Last but not least: everyone in this movie is so dang pretty, i loved Huxley and John Spartan can giiit ittt
