Bruce grounded Tim at the manor. Jason drops by for what he planned to be brief, but ends up getting roped into teaching Tim how to bake while Alfred is out. It’s messy and momentarily dangerous, but baking in the Wayne household has always been messy and momentarily dangerous.
I couldn’t help myself and rewrote this scene, doing my best to nail Tim’s character but still make him react to his mom’s death like a young child. You can find it here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/30682937/chapters/75709541
