In 2008 Taylor asked a girl out on date twice on myspace
Ok I swear the second clip is a new angle?? Am I imagining this?? Help me out 🥲
Things that I find suspicious about Toe and I don't understand how the hets don't:
1) Why she didn't used his voice in the intro of London Boy? It would have been cute if they were real.
2) "I'm New York City, you're the West Village" Does Toe has an apartment there that we don't know about?
3) "Magnetic field being a little too strong" have they never seen and interview of this guy? He is not magnetic at all, he is plain and boring and even a little uptight.
4) He hasn't post anything about folklore, an album he supposedly wrote and produced, why?
im adding number 5
5) if toe lived with his parents until taylor and toe (supposedly) moved in together for the first time somewhere in the UK, who the f*ck was taylor living with on cornelia street?
folklore as an old storybook

I kind of feel she purposely tied it more to JG to kinda protect Emily? She has a very “normal” life and I think she’s scared for her to get harassed when people start connecting the dots to women from her past in a few years. ATW became such a huge thing through the years which she obviously didn’t expect at the beginning. and even though I want to think it’s the original version I feel more and more like she changed the lyrics to fit JG to protect Emily and their past. But I could be totally wrong. It’s only been a few hours and there’s still so much to unpack.
I had the same thought. I mean she used the scarf line as a visual to tie to someone (even if I wasn’t that specific scarf and happened with someone else she mimicked it), and that’s her brand especially back then — giving people something they can tangibly tie to someone. It kept people engaged with her music while maybe protecting someone else in the meantime. Tale as old as time. Doesn’t make the song any less special!

An interesting read.
Forgive me if this has already been discussed but... have we considered that the “facade” could be Jerklie’s relationship?
Rumors started (deliberately) swirling in the press in November 2012 that KK and JK were dating.
Us Weekly 11/8/12:
Daily Mail 11/27/12:
Four years later, KK implied she met JK in June 2012. So we are supposed to gather their “relationship” started sometime between June and November 2012.
Was Spade trying to tell us Jerklie’s contract ends in 2022? And that’s why Taylor dropped some random references to ‘22’? (There is some debate about how long a decade actually is but at least one definition fits with this timeline).
There’s this from an Entertainment Weekly video in the Lover era (5/9/19). Right before she does this she is talking about the palm trees she posted on IG when she finished Lover. She says “A palm try symbolizes rebirth, new beginnings, positive energy. So...” *precedes to sort of randomly/awkwardly throw two “peace” signs up before the video cuts to the next topic.
Taylor later referenced ‘22’ with freaking lavender icing in her hair (4/27/20).
Now I bet there have been a million pivots behind the scenes so even if this was what Spade was trying to convey, it may not mean anything now. And the implications of KK potentially signing on two a two year contract ending in the midst of a potential second Trump term are complicated.
All I really know is that Taylor will be releasing her version of Red on 11/19/21. And she made sure to remind us the album resembles a heartbroken person before referencing a friend who calls in the middle of the night to talk about their ex..
