It was me when we started doing functions in 9th grade like istfg I hate functions to this day and it's basically everything that will be on my maths final 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I think one of the reasons I have so much more trouble focusing on schoolwork in college is the lack of understanding. if I don't immediately at least somewhat understand what I'm reading, I panic. panicking leads to freezing, freezing leads to avoidance, yadda yadda yadda, I get behind fast. and the process scares me enough that it gets progressively more dreadful to start reading/assignments/work in general, because what if I it happens again? what if I don't understand? this cycle of dread and self-doubt is one of the base parts of my procrastination habits, and it's spiraled into a place I genuinely might not be able to escape any time soon.
