The Vees ABSOLUTELY do the rainbow capitalism bs irl companies do, except all of them are ACTUALLY queer so its even more effective than it is irl bcuz "they wouldn't take advantage of us, they're gay too!" Unfortunately rhey are still takinf advantage of queer people. Diversity loss the evil capitalists profiting off of your identity are all some flavor of queer.
I get gillion not understanding fashion is a joke but also watch how fast I can get upset over it. cuz like. he doesn't know how to dress himself, because he's been wearing the same uniform (sleeveless turtleneck + big pants) since he was FIVE. he hasn't had the autonomy to pick out his own clothing EVER. never in his life has he been told to just pick out what you want to wear. put together an outfit for yourself. so the few times he's been told to make an outfit in the campaign, it's been to disguise himself (the chair suit, the pile of leaves, even the outfit he wore to mimic the uniforms of the elders,) with the notable exception of the outfit he wore to grimm's party- something he didn't enjoy wearing.
he's the only captain that hasn't gotten a full, true redesign, because he just isn't comfortable changing his look right now. he put up his hair, and he bought a nice cape for himself. he's purposefully taking his time exploring this new freedom that he has, but like. that cape is a bigger step for him than you'd think.
I animated that one intro grizzly did in 110
Le thumbnail
Bro is devious
they should let arthur hug his disembodied voice in his head
niklaus is just grizzly's self insert character
so i've been thinking abt the circumstances of gillion's banishment (as one does) bc it Doesn't Make Sense cuz like,,, idc how fucked up the elders are or how much they may have hated gillion, why would you banish the chosen one over something like attacking a navy officer- the very thing you spent seventeen years telling him to do??? you wouldn't. you've spent almost two decades training this kid to be your perfect little weapon, you wouldn't throw him out for acting like the weapon you turned him into. for acting on the instinct that you programmed into him- especially considering gill attacked jayson because he could literally smell the evil coming off of him. you wouldn't give up an unquestionably loyal guard and literal holy figure for the sake of a bad deal with the very people you HATE.
so now I wonder. I wonder if sending gill to the oversea is just another fucked up test. I wonder if the elders lied to him about his banishment, and used him attacking a navy officer as an excuse to throw him into this test. to see if he could survive on his own.
I hope Jon had lots of naps with the admiral
tigers. thoughts on yes&no by natalie wee as a fnc coded poem
WHYYYYY WOULD YOU SAY THAT TOOOO MEEEEEE
deadass tho i was like “:0 poem! Wait a damn minute I KNOW THIS POEM YOU FUCKER”
I think part of what fucks me up about it so bad is that initially I’m like “yeah this is chips pov” but then i fucking read it again and GOD does it hurt so much more as Gillion.
Bc the poem reads in the first bit almost as someone worshipping the other, right? With the “get on your knees” and “forgiving vs violence” and i think Chip would view Gillion as the holy one, hes the chosen one, hes the one that must be worshipped, the one with the power of the seas and the sky at his hand.
BUT. Gillion is the one who knows nothing but worship. Of course he’d want to worship Chip. And he wasnt raised to love, let alone love tenderly. Hes the soldier, the one good at violence, the war-machine. The last good thing that shattered in his hands? The shell phone. Before that? He doesnt even know. Because hes never held anything gently before. Chip has at least held the coin, or ollies hand, and he doesnt break those. But gillion? Gillion was made to break those things- emotional ties, the innocents of the oversea.
The poem is Chip on its surface, but in reality i see it as Gillion and i will deadass do a one by one line analysis of that poem and talk about how it could be either of them, if yall want that
you know maybe the vee aren't delulu in the finale where they're talking about a power vacuum
- a fuck ton of rosie's civilians are gone now and alastor, who's presumably her biggest ally, is busy with the hotel
- vox presumably just placed a massive order from carmilla carmine for his whole angelic security thing as well as the hotel gang. the last battle took place at the hotel so carmilla and co couldn't gather more weapons. and presumably the angelic forces aren't going to attack again any time soon so she can't replenish her supply
- vox presumably has a supply of angelic weapons + now knows they're deadly to alastor and the other overlords
do NOT expect a consistent blog this is just my silly place
