rollerskating date where skylor tries to teach kai except he sucks so bad at it so she just picks him up bc it's more efficient. definitely for no other reason. yep

slapped color on this because it was incomprehensible without lmao

(also havent drawn much of skylor or kai somehow so probably wont be consistent with these designs. undercut ponytail skylor currently owns all of my heart tho)

i really like kailor on paper but it feels like the show didn't know how to handle skylor post-s4 (on account of her being an absolute elemental powerhouse without any defined drawbacks for so many seasons) and so kailor doesn't get anywhere near as much screentime or development as the other canon relationships. as a result, fanon tends to be more interesting to me than the actual canon state of kailor (who apparently aren't even official??? lmao?? 😭😭)

that aside, s4 was pretty solid with these two (even if i wish kai got a bit more of an arc outside of his romance with skylor) and the part in s7 where kai goes to skylor to sort out his feelings about his potentially evil parents is also really nice to think about.

so yeah, i think they are pretty neat :)
