Ok so my husband and I recently started exploring the "hotwife" dynamic. Mostly he encouraged it and it took me a while to come around to it, but recently I told him that I'd be open to it under the right circumstances. That was about a month ago. I read your blog all the time, and I remember you saying something like when a wife decides that it is possible for her to do something like this and opens her mind to what it might mean, that her daily life changes. Her confidence blooms, and she sees men a different way. Let me tell you, 100% that is my experience. I guess I'm giving off some kind of vibe, because I swear that ever since I internally determined that I might do this, almost every attractive man I see--in a grocery store, in a store, just about everywhere, gives me that "look"--you know, where the eye contact lasts just a second too long. It's been an exciting, flirty, experience. It's also a super turn on. I don't know if I'll ever find the right guy. At this point I hope I do, because I'm wearing my husband out at night to the point he can't keep up. So this isn't really a question, just a comment. We've been married 10 years by the way--both of us are 35.

I know, right? Can't tell you how often I hear this. Even though I've been open to this for like 11 years now, I still have this experience out and about--maybe not to the same level you're now having it, but still. There's something to be said for the novelty of it--if you've been married that long and who knows how long you were committed before to him, you haven't opened yourself up to "flirting" for a long time. To find out attractive men are attracted to you is, well...intoxicating is a great word.
