Lately, I’ve been having dreams of a more softer, gentle version of myself. I dreamt that I was adorned with fabrics of silk and cashmere, and surrounded by precious metals and gemstones like gold and copper, and pearls, diamonds and rubies. I was also in a place where the earth was abundant with vegetation and water was clear... I have no idea what this dream means and I hope that someone can explain this to me.

Gardens of the Witches

image

Already starting to plan this years garden so I thought I should do a post on Witch Gardens

Moonlight Garden

A garden that blooms in the moonlight, a great place to perform night time rituals, meditations, or to just take a midnight stroll. A garden that is full of magick even after the sun sets.

Plants to add in your moonlight garden:

Moonflower: (Ipomoea alba) A nocturnal relative of the morning glory. Has fragrant flowers that open at dusk and close by dawn.

Evening Primrose: (Oenothera biennis) Has beautiful, scented flowers that bloom only at dusk.

Night Flox: (Zaluzianskya capensis) A sweetly fragranced flower that only unfurls its pinwheeled shaped flowers after dusk.

Four O’Clock: (Mirabilis jalapa) Its scented flowers bloom at around 4:00pm (hence its name) and do not close up until morning.

Queen of the Night: (Epiphyllum oxypetalum) A species of cactus whose flowers only open at night. Attracts moths and bats!!!

Night Blooming Jessamine: (Cestrum nocturnum) Strong, sweet scented star shaped flowers that only bloom at night. Attracts moths and bats!!! All parts are toxic, do not ingest!

Angel’s Trumpet: (Brugmansia) Produces a strong scent on warm summer evenings. All parts are toxic, do not ingest!

Evening Stock: (Matthiola longipetala) Produces lots of small blossoms that produce a perfume described as a mix of vanilla, rose, spice, and cloves only after the sun sets.

Ever-Flowering Gladiolus: (Gladiolus tristis) Release a strong almond fragrance after dusk.

Lilac: (Syringa vulgaris) Although has a perfume during the day, it is said to be a lot stronger after dark.

Flowering Tobacco: (Nicotiana) Open in the late afternoon and have a fragrance that smells of jasmine. All parts are toxic if ingested!

Summer Snapdragon: (Angelonia angustifolia) Preferably in white, to reflect the moonlight. Has a scent apple-scented foliage.

Silvermound: (Artemisia schmidtiana) Has thick foliage that will shimmer under the moonlight.

Jack Frost: (Brunnera macrophylla) Hdeart shaped leaves of silver and green, perfect to add more highlights of silver to your moon lit garden.

Any plant that blooms after dark or has white, lavender, pale pink, pale yellow on it is a perfect addition to your moonlight garden.

Things to add:

Stepping stones that have the phases of the moon.

Fairy lights

A place to sit

Candles

A small fountain to sing along with the insects and birds of the night

It’s Fire Cider making season!!

Half of today was just a huge cider crafting adventure. Half of these herbs are from my yard while the rest were from the market. I had the idea of making different ciders for various purposes and various correspondences. I even gave them names!!

Burning passion: Red cabbage, radishes, hibiscus petals, red onion, grapefruit, purple basil flowers, black peppercorn. I wanted this to taste sensual and fiery like a smokey flower. Can be used in love tonic spells or for courage.  devils kiss: Sweet red peppers, chili peppers, red bell pepper, shallots, dried chili flakes, sweet garden tomatoes. I wanted this to be traditionally spicy but with a rich sweet taste. The tomatoes were ripe and from my garden and have such a rich sweetness to them.  amber blaze: Oranges, sweet orange peppers, carrots, cinnamon, anise, habanero peppers (going to sweeten it with maple syrup after probably). I just wanted this to have the festiveness of fall and kick any cold I would potentially have in the crotch.  gold fire: Ginger, turmeric, lemon, yellow onion, sweet yellow peppers. I was just excited to use pure turmeric. There’s a beautiful glow to this one.  white inferno: Daikon radish, white onion, garlic, rosemary, cardamom, white pepper, chive flowers, basil flowers, chives. This one has a intense cleansing feel to it, nutritionally and energetically. I really felt like adding rosemary to this recipe would be right. I love the whole white flowers in there too that make it have more of this sense of purifying. The white pepper powder for some reason sparkles in it so it feels sparkly and light. The daikon radish is so light and refreshing when you first bite into it but it has an airy fieriness that permeates the whole mouth two seconds later. I’m excited to see what type of spice and flavor it will have after a few months! emerald ember: Horseradish, parsley, lime, basil, orange mint, jalapeño peppers, green bell peppers. I really wanted a cider that would be very herbal yet refreshing. I wanted it to have the type of spice that opens up your sinuses and third eye lol.

My fingers were burning for an hour after haha. I am so glad it finally stopped.

A Few Weeks Ago, My Mother And I Went To A Flea Market And Noticed A Man Selling Different Herbal Products.
A Few Weeks Ago, My Mother And I Went To A Flea Market And Noticed A Man Selling Different Herbal Products.

A few weeks ago, my mother and I went to a flea market and noticed a man selling different herbal products. He was asking what type of products that I normally use and what type of ailments I have. I told him that I has acne inversa and serious hyperpigmentation. The conversation end up leading to talking about honoring your ancestors, that my ailments is my blood, telling me that I should acknowledge them and to heal whatever that’s within me so that I can get better both physically and spiritually. So, I bought nothing but neem products and giving myself one month to heal myself.

Luck & Love Bread

Luck & Love Bread

The laziest bread, made by the laziest witch, for my fellow lazy witches:  Ingredients:  Dairy Free Ice Cream (“Cinnamon Swirl” or Vanilla flavor)  Self-rising Flour

That’s really all you need to actually make the bread, and then I added some ground spices for the correspondences (all of them, except salt, include either luck, love, or both) plus it tastes better!

Allspice -  prosperity, luck, healing  Cinnamon - success, healing, protection, power, love, luck, strength, prosperity Nutmeg - prosperity, luck, protection, intellect, removing curses Ginger - sensuality, sexuality, confidence, prosperity, healing, protection  Vanilla - happiness, love, lust  Cloves -  protection, love, prosperity, banishing, friendship, stopping gossip Pinch of salt - cleansing, purification, banishing, protection

I don’t have the measurements for any of them though, because again, i’m lazy as fuck. I just kind of threw them in and thought “yea that’s not too much, not too little, it’ll do.”

Instructions:  Preheat oven 350°F. Let the ice cream get soft, but not liquid/melted, and mix it in with the flour. It’s going to get all clumpy, the flour won’t mix in very well, and you’re going to think “I should add some water or something” but DON’T, just keep mixing. Eventually it’ll be more like sticky dough/batter. Scoop the batter into a greased bread-pan, bake it at 350°F for 40ish minutes (or until you can poke it with a toothpick/knife and have it come out clean). Let it cool and you’re done!

Bedroom Witch Tips

🌿Herb sachets hung above your bed (request herb sachet recipes from me if you’re interested).

🌿Hang Dry herbs upside down in your bedroom (Lavender helps for anxiety and depression… it is very calming or Mugwort for dreams. Mugwort is very invasive, you can find it growing everywhere).

🌿Herbs placed inside your pillow sheet (I place Mugwort leaves inside to active lucid dreams).

🌿Setup an Altar near your bed: add elements of earth, fire, water and air. You can also use your windowsill as an altar.

🌿Place Black Tourmaline under your bed: shields you energetically by taking the electromagnetic frequencies, and instead of absorbing them, tourmaline changes, redirects, cleanses, and purifies the energy. This is how it handles negativity, even energies of psychic attack too!

🌿Place Sigil writings or powders for protection and restful beauty sleep under your mattress.

🌿Keep a dream journal under your pillow! Dreams can help us get a glimpse into our subconscious and the more dreams you write the easier it becomes for you to remember them.

🌿Unless you are allergic, sleep with the window halfway open or cracked to let good energy move around and circulate in your room and keep skin hydrated during the night.

🌿Drink herbal tea before bed each night. (Request free herbal tea recipes from me if interested) Mugwort tea is great to have in the evening before bed to reach high levels of lucid dreaming

🌿Smoking Herbs before bed is great as well. I recommend this book for further reading: Smoke Plants Of North America by M.R. Ross. (Request free Smoke Blend recipes from me if interested). With reverence, Rosemary Milk 🌹
