Doodles of members of the kpop girl group Loona and characters from the film Conclave. The top right image is a cheery drawing of Chuu and Cardinal Benitez making a heart together with the words Peace & Love written on top. They both have bright grins. To the left is a bust of Cardinal Lawrence in his usual frown with two drawings of Yves in her Viola album outfits behind him, posed as if about to dance. Underneath this doodle is the lyric I just need some space. To the bottom right is ARTMS Virtual Angel Choerry with Cardinal Adeyemi, looking down at Cardinal Tremblay doing the Peter Griffin Death pose with simony papers dropped behind him. His zucchetto has fallen beside him. At the top of this doodle is the lyric I'll be there for you when your wings break. The final doodle is of Monsignor Ray O'Malley spoofing the "don't even joke lad" meme. The question asks "You big into LOONA?" While Ray, in sunglasses, holding an Orbit lightstick responds, Don't even joke lad.

some INCREDIBLY self indulgent loona x conclave doodles

◾For 80 days, Israel has closed the border crossings and prevented the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza as a collective punishment. The failure to allow flour, cooking gas, and basic supplies into the Gaza Strip has caused famine and the death of children due to malnutrition.

Imagine you are a doctor from a war-torn region. You had to make the choice between doing your job saving others, and saving your own family.

This is Dr. Mohammed Al-Deeb’s story.

Story written by @wolfboy-awoos

Dr. Mohammed Al-Deeb was an emergency medical professional at Al-Shifa hospital for many, many years. Following the destruction of Al-Shifa, Dr. Al-Deeb continued to do heroic work on the front lines in Gaza, trying to save as many people as he possibly could.

But having his own family to save, he had to make the difficult decision to leave Gaza and flee to Egypt with his family. Dr. Al-Deeb is now asking us to pay that bravery and kindness forward.

Although safer than Gaza, Egypt is not a welcoming place for Palestinian refugees. Egypt has a decades-long policy of discriminating against Palestinians in education, social services, and employment, and many refugees struggle with the precarity of their legal status in the country.

This makes it incredibly difficult for Dr. Al-Deeb to provide for his family. He is asking for donations to be able to provide for his family the basic necessities that many of us have taken for granted.

As we sit comfortably in our own homes, especially during this time of year in the midst of the holidays, I ask of you to put yourself in the shoes of those who are not comfortable, those who are not safe. Dr. Al-Deeb needs your help, and if every person reblogging this donated only $1, $5, whatever you can—although it can feel sometimes that you’re just one person and the weight of the world is ovebearing—if everyone took just a fraction of their resources to do their part, we can make a difference, together. 🙏

You can donate to Dr. Mohammed Al-Deeb’s GoFundMe [HERE].

@appreciationforyourlife

Story written by @rumiandroses

Imagine dedicating your life to saving others, only to find yourself without a home, studying amidst ruins, the walls that once sheltered you reduced to dust. Yet still, even in the midst of such devastation, you hold onto your dream of saving lives.

Ahmed Al-Jadil was studying to become a nurse when war erupted in Gaza. In the chaos, instead of fleeing, he ran toward the wounded, offering whatever help he could. He bandaged wounds, provided comfort, and gave his all—because that is who Ahmed is. A healer. A peacemaker. A young man determined to make a difference.

But war does not spare the selfless. His family was forced to flee, living in a tent for over a year. When they finally returned, their home was unrecognizable—just rubble and dust. Yet, Ahmed did not give up. He continued his studies, determined to qualify as a nurse, even as he sat among the wreckage, exposed to the elements.

Now, he needs help. He needs books, study materials, and the basic necessities to continue his education. He needs warmth and shelter to survive the cold nights. He needs a chance to rebuild.

Every donation goes directly to Ahmed and his family. We ask for your support to help this young man accomplish his dream of becoming a nurse and to give his family the safety they deserve.

Can you stand with Ahmed in his journey to heal and rebuild? Even a small contribution brings him closer to security and education.

If you can't donate, please spread the word—every share amplifies Ahmed's voice and brings him closer to finding people who can help.

You can donate to Ahmed’s Chuffed campaign [HERE].

You can visit Ahmed's TikTok and see his firsthand documentation of his daily life in Gaza [HERE].

Really hate how well Robert Harris did his research because the papabiles, especially the ones that are currently considered the frontrunners do line up fairly well with the contenders in Conclave (especially the novel).

But you cant fucking say that without sounding like the Guy Whos Only Seen Boss Baby making real world political happenings about their blorbos

tumblr marking palestinian fundraisers as explicit content... it's just another attempt by staff to silence and harm people living under a genocide.

like palestinians have had their entire lives disrupted and can never ever go back to the old 'normal'. they're still being killed while the privileged argue whether or not what they're going through is a genocide.

to try to hurt a person living in an active genocide is beyond inhumane. there's no way to justify it.

i request everyone to please continue helping palestinians. kindly consider donating to alaa, a mother of two young children. help her afford necessities in this very difficult time.

My Three Girlfriends. And Yes, They Smoke Weed.

My three girlfriends. And yes, they smoke weed.

Hello dear friends,

I have some sad news for you. The war is back, but this time it is harsher and bloodier. Things have been going from bad to worse! I'll try to explain our suffering in simple words, despite that no words can describe our feelings of anxiety and uncertainty. 😞

Insecurity

Since the resumption of the genocide, we have a constant sense of insecurity. Every night, we have this ugly feeling that we may never wake up again. Loud explosions from every direction, and the continuous roar of fighter jets only add to our anxiety. People die while sleeping in their homes, walking in the streets or standing in lines for water and food. Sadly, there's no safe place in Gaza. 💔

War of Starvation

A month ago, Israel has closed border crossings, stopping all food and humanitarian aid from getting into Gaza. Basic commodities are getting scarce every day, and the prices are skyrocketing. As a result, the danger of famine and starvation looms large, so we have already started to minimize our food rations. ☹️

Water supply

As a result of the cessation of fuel supply, water pumps have stopped as well. With the lack of water supply, we found ourselves in a dire situation, paying huge sums for water, and manually moving it from far places. Have you ever considered moving water in buckets for hundreds of meters? Considering this reality, We decided to decrease our water consumption, a hard decision with dangerous impacts on our health and hygiene! 😭

Heating & cooking

With the crossings shut by Israel, the flow of fuel and cooking gas has stopped. As a result, we have been forced to use wood for heating and cooking. I don't need to explain the negative impacts of this on environment and public health, but we have no choice.

Transportation & power supply

It goes without saying that no fuel means no transportation and no power supply. The social impacts are not to be underestimated, as people can barely communicate with each other and with the outside world. As the Muslim world celebrate Ramadan and Eid El-Fitr, a special time for family bonding, people in Gaza stick to their homes due to the lack of transportation and sense of security.

Health care

Medicine stocks in pharmacies and hospitals are getting empty and the health care system is crumbling. This poses a threat particularly to our family, as my father and grandma suffer from chronic diseases. I am deeply worried about their survival.

On the background of these sad developments, I am turning to you for help. I humbly ask you to donate to our fundraiser. Your support, no matter how small, can be the line seperating life and death, safety and danger. 🙏

Imagine holding your child close as icy rain seeps through the torn fabric of your tent, their small body shivering against yours. The ground beneath you is cold and unyielding, but there is nowhere else to go—your home is now a pile of rubble, your livelihood reduced to ashes.

Story written by @rumiandroses

Just months ago, Nazmy Aboouda was a university graduate with hopes of travel, work, and a secure future for his family. But war does not discriminate; it tore through everything—his home, his small clothing shops, and every plan he had made.

Now, Nazmy, his wife, his children, and his ailing mother huddle together in a makeshift tent, the thin walls barely enough to block the bitter chill of winter nights. Food and water are scarce, and the threat of disease looms large with every passing day. His mother’s health deteriorates rapidly, requiring urgent surgery that is out of reach without financial assistance. The children, too young to understand why their world has collapsed, have not tasted a full meal in weeks.

The war has reduced every source of this family's livelihood to ashes, leaving Nazmy’s family to face hunger, malnutrition, and the constant fear of what tomorrow might bring. Yet, amid the wreckage, Nazmy struggles to keep hope alive—for his children, for his mother, and for a future beyond the camps and the chaos of war.

Nazmy’s story is just one of countless in Gaza, where the need for support has never been more urgent. A small donation can help provide the food, medicine, and warmth that his family so desperately needs. Even if you cannot give, sharing his story can help bring the aid they need to survive.

You can donate to Nazmy’s GoFundMe campaign [HERE].

as far as one piece antagonists go Crocodile truly gets absolutely scooby-doo’d at unmatched levels

He immediately falls for a phone scam and from basically little garden to rainbase he doesn’t even know the strawhats are alive (and clowning towards him at incredible speed). As soon as he does, they’re in his house tearing at his walls and bringing marines into his villain lair.

He uses a literal floor trap door over a gator pit to catch them, gets phone scammed again, full scooby-doo chase scenes after Chopper through the streets while still missing him, and suddenly his prisoners have escaped his impossible cage, and his giant bananagators are dead. and Nico Robin saw it all happen.

He then spends rest of the arc complaining about those meddling kids and their dog “strawhat pirates and their weird pet” and at no point does he even know how many strawhats there are.

Like yeah he keeps having plans on top of plans to stop everything Vivi can do but also she keeps coming up with a new thing to do (Tom and Jerry ass dynamic).

Part of it is that he’s underestimating them and keeps grandstanding villain monologuing but also teens keep killing hundreds of his grand line bounty hunters and he straight up does not know what is happening.

Cause he IS trying to kill them he’s sending top assassins after them and ripping out luffy’s organs, the whole time he’s yelling HOW ARE YOU ALIVE?? DIE. as whack-a-mole Luffy keeps inventing new ways to hit him.
