Israeli forces arrested Ahed Tamimi in a pre-dawn raid of her home in the village of Nabi Saleh, occupied West Bank. An Israeli intelligence officer took this photo of her and posted it online. Soldiers also ransacked her home, as shown in these photos.
Ahed’s father, Bassem Tamimi, was arrested over a week ago as he was trying to travel to Jordan. The family has no idea where he is being held and have heard nothing.
An Israel surveillance drone has been flying above their home for days .
I have heard alarming reports of the abuse Palestinian prisoners are suffering in Israeli prisons in recent weeks and am deeply concerned about their safety.
As many of you know, I coauthored They Called Me A Lioness: A Palestinian Girl’s Fight For Freedom with Ahed.
Caotion bg Dena Takuri.
Note that Ahed was detained in 2017 by Israeli forces when she was 16 years old and was sentenced to 8 months in prison.

These aren't the things children should watch or experience.
One of the things that pisses me off most about this genocide and overall occupation is how many people say it's so complicated and there's so much nuance and there isn't one easy solution. This is one of the simplest things I have ever seen. Zionists invaded palestine in 1947-48. They have occupied it for 76 years while taking more and more land. They kidnap and torture and massacre Palestinians day in day out for those 76 years. They control every aspect of Palestinian life, including their water and medical care. And now they are committing another genocide against them. Where is the complication? What is hard to understand? "Well, Jewish people need a place where they won't be discriminated against" I absolutely agree. So make every country in the world safe for Jewish people. Fight against anti Semitism across the world. Don't commit a genocide and set up an ethnostate.
Don't you fucking dare say that Egyptians don't want Palestinians in Egypt!
Walk the streets of Egypt and ask. Everyone will tell you we would love if we can have them here and save Palestine. Egypt has a demonic government. If it weren't for the fear of disappearing or being killed on the spot the second you say something, we would have walked through the borders and open them ourselves.
Ramdan is less than a month away. We usually start the celebrations way before that. We can't. Egyptians are all miserable. People can't face the guilt. I know people who can't talk about it because they won't stop crying.
We welcomed the Syrians. We welcomed the Sudanese. You think we won't welcome the Palestinians?! You know nothing of our culture. We were raised on loving Palestinians. Most would probably hug you instantaneously if they find out you're Palestinian. It's actually a problem😂. Some Palestinians hate it.
We are having an economic crisis right now. Some genuinely think we deserve it. Morally speaking. For not helping Palestinians. And despite of such crisis, we will welcome them.
We have a saying, "Let us starve together. At least we can keep each other company!"
However,
It's not about whether they are welcome or not. It's about them being departed from their homes! It's their right to stay!
And we know most of them will stay till death
So, No. I would welcome Palestinians in my home, but we are fighting for their right of their own home
This made me day lets take this as a victory I'm proud of yall *hugs*
