Because my last post about this didn't get much traction, I'll say it in a text post.

There is an upcoming global strike for Palestine. February 18th to the 25th. Talk about Palestine and other injustices, call your representatives and email them, boycott companies and limit spending during the week. Get your grocery shopping in now and only buy essentials during the week, please. Limit interaction on posts other than injustices around the world. If you can, skip work or school, though this is a privilege not everyone has.

For those who don't understand the kid is screaming: "I'm here dad! Come here!" His father comes and asks him: "where is your mother?" The kid cries: "she died, she died."

Then the child explains that his foot is injured and his father tries to comfort him.

This is evil. The child literally met his dad at the hospital by accident, he watched his mom die and had to break the news to his father. What kind of power will save these children from this trauma? I know children in gaza are so strong and resilient, but children are children regardless.

Use your voice to end this genocide. Enough, CEASEFIRE NOW!

a week long ceasfire is not enough. the occupation needs to end. a ceasfire will not free palestine. this is about liberation as well as ending a genocide

sometimes im worried im in a bubble of compassionate people, but then i go outside of tumblr. when i check in on instagram, take a peek onto twitter, reposted tiktoks, fucking splatoon, apparently also roblox. images and videos of people angry and protesting, and people, including children, saying the most they can with what social media outlet they have.

no matter how much they try, media giants and coorperations can't hide what the masses think. i think my college blocked a donation site to palestine, tumblr is keeping related tags off trending, twitter is doing the same, google searches lead to misinformation and news outlets are cherry-picking, lying, or not reporting at all. world leaders vote and give money to end a people.

but even with they're power, they are few. citizens from all over the world are many. everywhere you look online, millions of people won't let you forget, won't let them forget. even if it's not right outside your window.

i just. i love the human spirit, human compassion and love in the face of human evil.

Hello, I'm from Gaza City because of the war,my house was destroyed. We lost everything,my family and I did not have anything left. We left our homes in search of a safe place and we were displaced three  times to different places to survive, but unfortunately there's no safe place in Gaza. My mother is very sick and she's a kidney failure patient in need of treatment outside. She suffers from LS. Help me and my family to survive. Please, your small donation can make a huge difference. A friend outside Gaza has come in to help me run the donation program so that my mother can be evacuated. My friend Mr. Fred Odhiambo is receiving the donations on our behalf to help us organise how to evaluate Gaza in the next four days
