I love love the idea of Ricky being crafty, I mean, he made a centerpiece with flowers and a fucking molcajete! As a Mexican I can say that this is the type of centerpiece that I would fight against my aunts to take home. But now that it's in the apartment... It's clearly Ricky's. He makes a lot of fake flowers because he knows he and his dad would kill real flowers but they brighten the space up! And every decoration he makes, Mike hangs.
