Hello All (。◕‿◕。) To welcome in the new year we have new releases to share with everyone. This is a little different from what we usually share but we hope you'll enjoy them all just as much.
This year, we're starting to release some of our favorite chapters from the novels that gave birth to the influential historical fantasy franchise Onmyouji. They are set in the Japanese court of 1000 years ago and follow the exploits of the court astronomer, diviner, and exorcist Abe-no Seimei and the former prince and most talented musician of his time Minamoto-no Hiromasa, as well as a large cast of deities, demons, nobles, monks, monsters and spirits.
We selected a few of our favorite chapters from the novels to share and since the stories don't follow a chronological order you can start reading from any one! However, we recommend that you start with the one that was published first, which is How a Demon Stole the Biwa Genjou. How a Demon Stole the Biwa Genjou: (Media Fire) (MEGA) Today, we also bring you two more short stories, "The Hiromasa Mimic" and "The Bowing Woman". The Hiromasa Mimic: (Media Fire) (MEGA) The Bowing Woman (Media Fire) (MEGA) For the curious, we also recommend the Netflix anime Onmyoji (2023) and the Warner movie Onmyoji Zero (2024) (available for purchase here, English-subtitled version here and here). The translator would like to give special thanks to @noxvrana and @lindesimpino for the inspiration and support.
Enjoy the new releases and Happy Reading~!
