I haven’t seen a lot of posts that shed some positivity for non-binary Muslims who wear the hijab – I personally sometimes feel it’s frustrating that people see hijabi non-binary people as “female” just because the hijab is an obligation for women. My hijab does not define my gender; only my obligation to my God and my religion!
Shoutout to all non-binary hijabi Muslims out there; you are valid and Allah loves you, insya-Allah!
I have read both Order of the Stick and As the Crow Flies and they are fantastic.
I was wondering how many webcomics there were out there with black protagonists (for my own reference). Then I figured plenty of other folks would love to see a list. So heeeeere we go! (Please reblog and add more!)
Yesterday, I was at Pride with a friend, when we noticed a homophobic street preacher. This preacher was surrounded by a small crowd and shouting loudly about how LGBT+ people are sinful.
At this point, my friend turned to me and says, “I have an idea. Can I borrow your shoe?”
I handed my shoe to my friend, who immediately took up a spot on the street next to the preacher and started preaching about the Holy Shoe, culminating in the line, “If you do not worship the shoe, you will go to sandal-and-sock hell!”
I know there’s a very good chance that in Part 2 it’s going to turn out that failing to trade lives was actually the right thing to do, because why would you ever let pulling the lever be the correct solution, but for the time being that hasn’t happened.
(I won’t be particularly surprised if the message turns out to be ‘actually, you shouldn’t kill one person to save trillions,’ but I’ll be disappointed.)
(I also want an “I Trade Lives” button. The internet is failing me here, although possibly I haven’t looked hard enough. There are buttons that say “We Don’t Trade Lives” but that is the literal opposite of what I want.)
so today i found out that i’m allowed to carry a knife with me to school as long as it’s smaller than 3 ½ inches but i still can’t show my shoulders and if thats not a perfect description of american schooling idk what is

Does it bother anyone else that there are parts of your life you don’t remember? You have done and said things that you don’t even know about anymore. That means you don’t even have the right perception of yourself because you don’t even fully know who you are. However, something that you’ve forgotten about could be a prominent memory in somebody else’s mind. It trips me out.
if i ever misgender you:
it is not on purpose i promise
im very sorry

(someone asked about the full version of this, so here u go)
“Wait,” says Sam, “you had a publicist?”
“For my first five months at S.H.I.E.L.D,” says Steve. “Then she quit. Uh, decisively.”
“Well yeah, she had to keep you in line,” Bucky says with a half-smirk. “How many times did you make that poor lady want to sock you in the face?”
“Lost count,” Steve admits. “I did offer to let her, once. Seemed fair.”
Sam laughs. “I feel like you’re sitting on a story here.”
“There’s no story,” Steve tells him. Sam raises his eyebrows. Bucky’s half-smirk tilts towards a full smirk. “Seriously,” Steve repeats, “no story.”

So a while ago I bookmarked a bunch of posts to reblog if I ever got a tumblr. Now I finally can!
