character sketches for an upcoming theatre production i’m going to be art directing, based on the novel Nine Goblins by @tkingfisher.
left to right: Murray, Nessilka, Weasel, Blanchett and the Bear.
i’ve recently started a ceramics course and found that the best way to prepare myself for the each lesson is sit down the evening before and do little sketches of things i wanna paint on the forms. because the method of painting on ceramics is color first, lines on top of it, these sketches were drawn in that manner- promarker shapes first, loose lineart after.
idk i just really like baby dragons and sabrehs (”Barbary fig” or “Cactus pear“)
A commission I made for a client of his DnD party. It’s meant to be a t-shirt design, which I think is really cool and forced me to work in a very different style than what I’m used to.
The top character is half an innocent-seeming human party member, half his true form- and evil lich who turns out to be the final boss fight. I loved working on this, and I hope to get more commissions like this in the future!

An inktober (im still doing this huh) feat. @goblindisco @momony0 @gryffindorf @iiriit and that sweet Givatayim skyline
I’m offering greyscale ink commissions in a style similar to the ones shown. I’ve been calling them “room landscapes”- but they don’t necessarily have to be a bedroom, they can also be a balcony, a living room, a kitchen, whatever place you feel close to.
Prices vary between 25-40$ depending on size and style. You can see the differences between each type of ink in the examples above. (Please keep in mind that the sizes all look the same on a computer screen, but irl i’m able to fit more information on a bigger paper.)
Send me an email at roninova2610@gmail.com for more details, and please spread the word!

I’m sorry for my inactivity. I’ve been making art and life decisions, but nothing worth posting yet.

(still not sure if i’m satisfied with how the white-out looks on the toned paper. too much? just right? i’d like to have an alternative, something lighter than the base color and usable on-the-go. i tried white gel pens but they’re not opaque enough. thoughts? critique? all welcome)
Finally, a proper Meet the Artist! (this took so long to finish that it’s summer now. i haven’t worn that coat in like 8 months)
there’s a lot of evidence that the iliad and the odyssey were actually composed by a variety of poets through an oral tradition rather than just by one poet, so what if the homeric texts are actually just a very long game of D&D

Did an art exchange with @larvastark-blog and decided to draw Gazelle from Kingsman! Such an awesome character!

some pages from the Daily Sketchbook i’ve been failing to uphold because of having taken another job which is causing me to be a lot busier than before.
most drawings here are loosely autobiographical and contain a lot of personal symbolism. except the Mass Effect 3 sketches. they’re just that.

(i wanted it to have color but didn’t wanna use markers so.. snip snip, my friends)
