omw to the library with an iced cinnamon dolce latte because i can’t seem to focus without leaving the house and spending money 🏃‍♀️

March 22, 2025 - Saturday

I think this is the first time in my life that I was actually successful in continuing worship despite not having prayer!Usually going on break from prayer takes me out of the experience completely but alhamdulillah this year I was able to stay up for multiple of the last 10 nights even though that's when I couldn't pray ✨

2025. 04. 28 | The weekend.

Koningsnacht and Koningsdag, we took it easy this year.

I had a pretty bad week a couple weeks ago at work and just mentally checked out for a bit, which was easy to do because it’s basically been Pasqua weekend, work retreat, Koningsdag, and now we’re back. Like a month later lol.

There’s just casual racism, sexism, xenophobia by some people there and not really anybody recognizing it, so I lost my drive for work for a bit.

Anyway, today was the first real day back and my student and I spent it in the lab. There are setbacks but we’re making some progress. I’m just excited to finally get going.

thinking i should do a reread soon

22.04.2025 // 9/30: Had to travel to a doctors appointment so I didn't get to do much learning today. Continued my Erinnerungskultur course which was weirdly relaxing because it was all about the Asterix comics.
