Writing Help

So I started thinking and conceptualizing a book in June this year, but I only started writing it this November.

Should I place it as;

Started: June 2021 or Started: November 2021

???

y/n is sick (might use Miyazono Kaori's sickness) and therefore cannot be with Baji all the time. She dies before Baji dies. Baji thinks he has no more anchor in this world and says his best wishes to his mom. It'll be a realistic short story.
