Anyways Naoto Shirogane is transgender because he was willing to let his shadow magically change his sex

Naoto Shirogane is transgender because his story focuses heavily on gender dysphoria

Naoto Shirogane is transgender because he openly expressed his desire to be born as a man.

Naoto Shirogane is transgender because his shadow deals with internalized transphobia and once he voices his self doubt (his shadow calling himself "really a girl") no one in the group respects Naoto's preferred pronouns, immediately switching to she/her, and never give him a chance to truly explain himself, instead opting to push him to "accept that he's a woman"

Naoto Shirogane was afraid of being seen as a child and (because of his dysphoria) as a girl, and him being treated with misdirected misogyny in the past does not mean he was really a girl all along. He went through great lengths to be seen as a boy (more than a cis woman ever would, especially to the point of extremely dangerous chest binding), and if he still wasn't taken seriously it was because he was and is a child (15)

Naoto's romance route is disgusting as to unlock it you must push your views for him to be a woman on him when he is expressing his doubts about his identity.

Things like this do NOT happen on accident. ATLUS knew what they were doing.

Atlus is complicit with the transphobic narrative of Naoto Shirogane. It doesnt matter if they were TRYING to address misogyny in Japanese workplaces what they actually DID was write a trans man who is forced to ignore his true feelings for the comfort of everyone else around him, and imply that trans men are really just struggling with internalized misogyny and that is extremely transphobic.

has male characters showing emotions and compassion and calls out toxic masculinity

is about teenagers that are played by ACTUAL teenagers

has amazing complex adult characters who also grow and develop

teaches the importance of love, family, friendship, education…

sends many important messages

doesn’t sexualize teenagers

makes you laugh, makes you smile, makes you cry, makes you… you know feel things

brings hope, joy and is just really heartwarming 

makes you want to be a better person

has a beautiful, breathtaking cinematography

has super-talented cast (young actors as well as the older ones)

and is just absolutely amazing tv series that deserves its full story to be told

PLEASE, HELP US SAVE IT. The vision for the show is 5 seasons, but Netflix and CBC decided to cancel it after season 3. Anne got the boy (and it’s beautiful) but her journey on which she achieves all her dreams (academic, career..) only begins and her story deserves to be told. Not to mention other amazing characters whose stories are nowhere near the end. 

Stream Anne With An E on Netflix, and make sure to stream season 3 that will be available on January 3! Spread this message and  fall in love with this outstanding show.  

(and if you’re really just not interested, could you at least stream few episodes on background. it would help us a lot)

2012 Loki === evil Loki

Marvel already confirmed he was mind controlled during the events of 2012, anyone with internet access can read it on their homepage. Actually it was pretty obvious he wasn't himself in the Avengers even before that confirmation. So what makes him a villain apart from the desire of many people to see him as such? Do his words about burning the place to the ground taken out of context justify those accusations? Someone holds him captive and tries to threaten him so it is only natural he is threatening them back. Still no reason to call him a villain.
