Tsukasa didn't tell anyone from wondershow his birthday because he thought it would be "too much of a hastle" from years of spending his birthdays with himself, or Toya!! Rui genuinely cried for the first time in front of Tsukasa when Miku mentioned that they missed Tsukasa's birthday :(

^ now Rui has a special robot that reminds him how many exact minutes until Tsukasa's birthday. TSUKASA WILL NEVER REST.

Tsukasa tried teaching Rui how to play piano, found out that Rui is an expert at being HORRIBLY uncoordinated with his fingers

Tsukasa has a couple scars on his knees from falling so much during practice and working so hard, while Rui has scars on his hands and one on his face from working with robots!!!

^ Rui tells Tsukasa that the scars on his arms are also from robots. Because a robot can DEFINITELY perfectly place a bunch of tiny scars in a line together...

^^ Rui has healed since middle school, he's much happier and he only gets hurt from his inventions now YAY♡

Tsukasa has emetophobia (these headcanons are basically just me self projecting at this point)

Rui holds a HUGE grudge against Tsukasa's parents. Like, it's insane how much he PRETENDS to like them (lol)

If you lift Rui up from his armpits, he'll stretch out like a cat!!

Tsukasa used to be taller than Rui when they were kids, now Rui is almost 2 heads above him...

actual conversation I had with a friend like last week

(for anyone who ACTUALLY wanted to read my long ahh essay, here u go!!!:

so star tears, as the name suggests, is when the victim starts to cry 'stars.'

In actuality, this disease, caused by unrequited love, is when one starts to cry small star-shaped glowing crystals. These crystals start clear, but over time, they grow more opaque and shine brighter. As the disease progresses, the tears are also harder to control and make the victim cry more often. The tears are also accomapanied with a small jingling/twinkling sound when falling, and are sharp and painful.

The symptoms (like every single fictional and real disease ever,) grow worse over time, and unless treated, lead to colorblindness and memory loss. Severe cases can lead to complete blindness as well.

The ailment is only cured when the victim's beloved returns their feelings, typically expressed through confession. Star tears isn't fatal if the love isn't returned romantically, but will lead to the (color)blindness and memory loss being permanent. It's currently divided on whether symptoms are cured if love is confessed in later stages, but I've only seen cases of vision and memories returning (because we love good fic endings!!!!)
