Forgive yourself, and then correct the miss. It's okay that you missed brushing, or flossing, or the Dr visit. Now you can do it. And it's okay if you don't have time or energy to floss your whole mouth. Do one tooth now. Doing one is better than none.

And all this applies to more than your mouth. Can't shower? Wash your face or your pits. You might have energy later to shower. Cleaning is just too much? Grab whatever is next to you and take care of just that. This has been my depression stratagy for 25 years. It's not perfect but when you live alone...any little maintenance helps.
