Skeleton Crew was a series that was very much Goonies In Space and it stuck to that feeling, but it didn't forget that Star Wars is a story about hope and kindness and caring about other people, even when it's not beneficial to you personally. The people who helped those kids, not because they were personally invested in them, but simply because they cared about other people, that is what the underlying message of a Star Wars show should be about. Skeleton Crew understood the Star Wars assignment.
