[slams fist on table] ASOUE S2 TRAILER!!!!!
“I’ve worn this darkened armor for so long now,
there’s no mote of light left in me.
Not even… in my heart.”
Justice League (2017) dir. Zack Snyder
I know this is very unlikely but sadly my hopes are up and I'm gonna end the day very disappointed we didn't get a trailer
Well this is probably ridiculous but i had a dream that i was in a boat with Esme Squalor and Count Olaf and they were smoking from a vape, and they were saying again and again ‘’THE TRAILER WILL BE OUT IN HALLOWEEN BUT UPSIDE DOWN IN HALLOWEEN BUT UPSIDE DOWN IN HALLOWEEN BUT UPSIDE DOWN’’
And idk this is probably my fucked up subconscious, but halloween is in 31 right?
Upside down halloween means 13. Tomorrow. It actually makes sense since everything in asoue is connected with number 13.
Am i psychic or just mad?

I still firmly believe it was done by Netflix, even if they deny It, it's perfect advertisement for the series
I FOUND THIS ON YOUTUBE AND ITS WAY BETTER THAN THE OFFICIAL ONE AND JUST… HOW?
Just so you know I didn’t make this someone on yt called Eleanor Poe did.

If you have walked into a museum recently - whether you did so to attend an art exhibition or to escape from the police - you may have noticed a type of painting known as a triptych. A triptych has three panels, with something different painted on each of the panels. For instance, my friend Professor Reed made a triptych for me, and he painted fire on one panel, a typewriter on another, and the face of a beautiful, intelligent woman on the third. The triptych is entitled What Happened to Beatrice and I cannot look upon it without weeping.
I am a writer, and not a painter, but if I were to try and paint a triptych entitled The Baudelaire Orphans’ Miserable Experiences at Prufrock Prep, I would paint Mr. Remora on one panel, Mrs. Brass on another, and a box of staples on the third, and the results would make me so sad that between the Beatrice triptych and the Baudelaire triptych I would scarcely stop weeping all day.

~who can say where the road goes?~
Moira’s probably the kind of person who listens to Enya in her spare time.
With a little bit of the pogues thrown in.
TRANSCEND THE STARSSS
“Guide my inner shadow… Light and dark above…”
I just had the mental image of Moira ranting at some anti-vaxxers and it made me happy.
Preach
psa that you can like moira without defending her actions and acknowledge that she is (arguably) the first truly evil villain with few to no redeeming qualities and still like her/find her interesting as a character
Super happy for this, also I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees her as some sort of sorceress and i definately hope she gets a Sorceress skin next Halloween, probably as a counterpart to the witch of the wilds
Alright hear me out. When Moira was revealed, I was super psyched to see that she was Irish, and not a stereotype whatsoever. Like, I genuinely spent a whole day practically in pure excitement because Blizzard had not only created Irish rep (a SERIOUSLY rare thing for us, aside from dopey background characters), but one who was based around true Irish culture. Rather than a drunken brute with a beer belly and wearing green all over- you know, the way media portrays us regularly- we got a character based on Genuine Irish Culture
This is PARTICULARLY prevalent in the Moon skin, which has numerous nods to Celtic culture- pagan symbols, a design mirroring common depictions of Irish deities such as the Morrigan or sorceresses such as Aoife, the wicked queen who transformed her stepchildren into Swans in the tale of the Children of Lir.
I really dig the concept of a sorceress themed Irish character with the power of genetics on her side, specifically because of the conscious effort Ireland as a country is making to have more and more science based jobs, specifically for women. It mightn’t have been intentional, but I wouldn’t be surprised!
These aside, however, there’s one thing that made me extremely happy, and ultimately left the impression that Blizzard had done a very good job with Irish representation: the fact that Moira is a Gaelgoir, or a fluent Irish speaker.
She’s got almost as many lines in English as she does as Gaeilge, in Irish. The reason this is such a big thing compared to, say, Sombra having so many Spanish voice lines is that Irish is very much so a language that’s struggling to survive and is slowly but surely dying. Ireland has a population of just under 5 million, and of those 5 million, only 70,000 people speak Irish fluently outside of the education system, and only 20,000 of those people speak it as their first language.
By having Moira be clearly one of those 20,000, judging by how often she uses Irish- which is a hell of a lot more than anyone I’ve ever heard in my life, because we all speak English rather than Irish- Blizzard have given the Irish OW community something which means more than they could have possibly imagined- the first good piece of Irish representation that I’ve ever encountered, and for the first time ever: I feel truly represented!
If they're talking about filming the 3rd season, probably the penultimate perril. But if it was now when finishing the 2nd season, maybe the ending of the 9th book with Madame Lulu?
GUYS ONE OF THE ASOUE WRITERS POSTED THIS YESTERDAY AND I’M FREAKING THE FUCK OUT
Golbez Arrives In Dissidia Arcade!
YES
Moira as Captain Amelia. a terrible yet wonderful idea had hit me. No one could stop me.
Same
Golbez
How I feel: OK, words can’t express how much I love this guy. If it weren’t for the fact that Kefka is my god, this guy would hands down be my favourite villain. I’m a little bummed that’s even considered so in Dissidia, but it’s an easier render than Zeromus, that’s for sure. Massive kilt-cape wearing mofo.
Ships I ship: I don’t ship Golbez. I think he’s just fine on his own though.
Non-romantic ship: Golbez and Ceodore, I can totally see him trying to catch his uncle’s attention.
Unpopular opinion: I think Golbez is an insanely nice guy, everything he says towards enemies in Dissidia sounds like advice and I don’t think he’s so much quiet, but more of someone who doesn’t really know what to say most of the time because someone’s been speaking for him for years. Maybe he’s a chatterbox when he’s drunk idk.
Something that should have happened: Lunarian hug dammit!
Poetic AF
Moira has two different voice lines for looking through the horizon lunar colony telescope!
OH BOY LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT GOLBEZ HE IS LITERALLY THE PIMPBEZ OF MY HEART
I MEAN SERIOUSLY ALL HIS SWAG??? GOLBEZ????? MORE LIKE SWAGBEZ
WHERE DO I EVEN START WITH SASSBEZ
But no ok in actual seriousness let me just ramble

“Hahaha! That is all the power you possess? A pity. Your eyes should still be free. Open them, and gaze upon true terror!”
Idk how I feel about this
Q. How have you enjoyed working on the “A Series of Unfortunate Events” TV series? Are you satisfied with how the show is going so far?
A. I’m always more interested in seeing what other people think. Right now, I’m kind of impatient because they’re finishing filming season two and they’re beginning to film season three, and I’m very eager to see some further edited drafts of the episodes, and I’m really curious to see what people think of them.
Q. How do you think the new seasons will be different from the first season?
A. It’s really hard to tell. I was very involved toward the end of the first season and the beginning of the second season and then less so now. That’s another thing: I was closer to the process as we were finishing the first season then I am now, and I’m curious to see how that goes.
Q. Why are you less involved with the show now?
A. I’m less involved because they asked me to be less involved (laughs).
Q. Was that amicable?
A. It wasn’t my idea (laughs). It’s amicable in that I don’t think anyone stayed up all night crying about it or sharpened their dagger and swore revenge. I was on a plane flying home from Vancouver, where I did a read-through of the scripts and kind of all the stuff we do early on in the season, and when I landed there was an e-mail saying, “We’d rather not have you involved at this point.” So that was surprising.
At times the world may seem an unfriendly and sinister place, but believe that there is much more good in it than bad. All you have to do is look hard enough. And what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events may in fact be the first steps of a journey.
a series of unfortunate events + dedications {½}
