Harry waved over the man as soon as Rhys walked into the pub. The private section he was given had the perfect spot to watch the game. Harry frequent this particular pub often as it reminded him the most of ones back in England. "Over here." It had been a good while since he sat down with a pal to watch a football soccer game. He still refused to call it soccer even in America. Quickly ordering a round of beers, Harry greeted Rhys. "Glad you showed."
Rubbing his glove clad hand together, Harry tried to keep himself warm. As the year was coming to an end, the weather was getting colder. And a winter in New York could be harsh. Harry pulled his coat tighter around him making his way into Central Park. The park during this time of year was the best to visit. He heard the footsteps approaching next to him. "Not yet. Close." Harry laughed it off. New York weather was nothing compared to England winters. "But if we do want to continue the day out here, I need some coffee."
air grew colder , scarves came out , steam rising from the grates billowed stronger and finn adored all of it . the contrast between the big grey city and the seas of reds , yellows and oranges from home as the seasons changed . the way lovers tucked their hands into the other's pocket as they walked . they adored seeing the normal things , the small gestures between millions of people sharing a city that made everyone anonymous , even them , to some extent . beanie tugged over reddened ears to shield them from the cold , sheepskin jacket pulled tight around him , he hoisted himself up the last few steps from the subway and down the street to central park . " sorry i'm late , " he said as he walked up along side them . " i hope you're not too frozen . "
When Harry was asked to come by Key's house for some scary games, he didn't think it would have been this decked out. He enjoyed a video game from time to time so he wasn't going to pass up a session with the newest music role in his latest production. Harry made himself comfortable on the couch as Key explained his set up. "You didn't have to go to this length for a game." He reached for a piece of pizza. "I've been on many set of horror films, I don't scare easy." He rolled his eyes at the laugh. "So what are playing?" He looked over at the other man.

"I know these horror games aren't for everyone, so to maximize your comfort I brought out the expensive blankets. They're cashmere. Even cranked up the AC and put the fire on to make the atmosphere extra spooky and cozy. If you're gonna hide behind the blanket, you might as well be doing it in style." Plopping down on the couch next to his guest, after having set everything up to make sure they're both as comfortable as possible, he finally settles in. "The pizza is sitting on a warmer so you don't have to worry about it getting cold whenever you wanna dig in. Same with the popcorn. It's kettle but I've got salty and caramel because I forgot to ask which one you like. There's drinks. Both kinds. Help yourself to whatever suits and let me know if you need anything besides a diaper." Imitating the most cartoonish movie villian laugh he can manage, "mwahaha" is how he continues to tease as he presses play on the controller. The colors of the room shift with the gigantic screen attached to the wall in front of them when the game starts.
Harry always stayed humbled. "My movies? Those pieces of junk." He joked around. "Sorry you have to watch all those." He wanted to keep the light heart attitude with them. He sat back down at the table, excited to discuss this movie. "Not a lot as you would think. Some actors don't put as much effort. But I take pride in each role. Which- the one I have in your book, I really am enjoying reading so far." Harry gave a point over to the book. "I really did enjoying the world you created. Amazing work." He praised them. "Oh, well then I have to make sure I make a good impression. Have you have done anything to this scale of production before? It can get intimidating."
the buzzing excitement in their veins hasn't drained since they first got confirmation that everything was good to go with the adaption. their smile is permanent ( as if they aren't always showing off their teeth in impressive joy ) on their way to meet the actor. they come to the table armed with a tote bag overpacked with their laptop, a hefty copy of character studies, and of course the book that's up for adaption.
" no, oh my god, it's totally entirely my pleasure. i've watched like all of your movies to prepare. " they take the seat across from him, struggling for a moment to hang their tote on the chair, only to give up and set it on the floor. " do all actors in adaptions do this ? it's my first time experiencing this, so i'm completely out of my depth. "

Harry loved attending these sort of events. It got him out of his home and extend his contacts. There was always someone new to introduced himself to. Granted half the time they knew who he was but Harry still wanted to stay humble. He had already went around introducing himself and familiarizing with the other people here. "A lot of people turned up tonight. You tell people there will be champagne and gift bags and they fill this hotel to the brim."

The amount of other actors and actress that were in New York was a large number but Harry knew quite a few of them. A lot of the younger generation of actors found a home here in New York City. Harry was out on a walk in the city. It was the best way to get the best street food. He had so many choices as he stopped outside some shops. He was debating on what to get not realizing he was right outside the doors of a busy shop. He didn't move out the way fast enough. "Oh! Sorry about that. I got too distracted by the food. I have too many choices out here."

It had been a good while since Harry really got invested in a role. His acting roles had been limited. With his years in the business, he had the privilege to handpick the roles he wanted to play. He wasn't going to sign onto anything. When he heard of the this fantasy best seller being worked on, he jumped onto the project. Like any good actor, he took on some research on the story. But just reading the book wasn't enough for him. He got his people to contact the author in hopes to set up a lunch with him. Harry reserved a table at one of his favorite cafes in the city. He had only been sitting for a moment before he noticed someone walking up to the table. Quickly he swiped the corner of his mouth to greet them. "Thank you so much for taking the time to meet me today. It's such a pleasure to meet you."
Harry attended charity events at least once a month. That was happened when your name was Griffin. Him and his father were frequent to attend any sort of charity. After attending so many Harry learned a few tricks to liven them up. The table he was seated at tonight was filled with new faces to him. His attention was at the speaker until a whisper came from his side. He chuckled at her comment. "You're new to these?" Harry looked back up to the speaker. She wasn't wrong. He had already tuned them out. He was already giving a good amount of money to the cause, at least he do was get a drink with a pretty woman. "You know, what the hell. I'll take you on the offer. Let me walk you to the bar."

normally, normally she enjoyed attending the charity gala's set up by her manager. it's good for your brand, they said. the dressing up and flirting were usually the best part.

"A few projects here and there. Mostly producing. So sorry to disappoint any fans of mine that want another Superman movie any time soon."

"Thanks. They are some projects that are close to my heart. Oh dogs 100%. I have a Collie, Quinn." Harry was quick to pull out his phone with his free hand. "This is the little guy."

Harry is the first child out of four to famous film director Harry Griffin Sr. ( Steven Spielberg fame ). He had always grew up around movies.
Going to movie premiers were just fun family activity for Harry growing up. He also loved to visit his father on set. He did get small background roles in a lot of his father's films.
His family moved from London to LA when he was fifteen. His mother wanted him and his siblings to have a little bit of a normal childhood. He attended the best private schools both in London and LA.
By the time he was turning 18, Harry was in the spotlight. The world knew about him, from his father. He was a bit of a teenage heart throb that wasn't actually in the film industry. All of his fame came from his father's success.
His curiosity on getting more into film industry had him asking other directors, who were friends of his father to be in their movies. It took a while but Harry got his first acting credit in a small period film . It showed off Harry's true acting skills.
Soon every teenage girl had posters of him on their walls. Harry was going to events and premieres just for him to be there on the carpet. He became a true 90's heartthrob
His next movie he landed was a large budget historical piece . The director loved his look that they needed him to be in the film. The film blew up in the box office sky rocketing Harry's career. He was one of Hollywood's biggest name before 30.
After the success of the film, he took a few roles here and there but it was at this time that he wanted to work behind the scenes and start producing. Mostly working with his favorite directors and cast. He did this for a few years, taking a break from being in the main spotlight. He didn't stop acting, just not taking the main lead.
