You have friends that are outside of tumblr who don’t care about the ‘childish’ fandoms you’re in! Omg your so lucky last time i put Netflix on with my friend I had completely forgot I was rewatching ninjago and had just watched she-da so that was the first thing they saw :(

AAAAAAAAAA ANON!! I am so sorry for taking this long to get back to you! I had actually typed a reply the moment you sent in that ask, but tumblr decided to delete it, and I got way too annoyed with it at the time to retype it.

I just want to say, I completely get how you feel. It didn’t always use to be like this with my friends.

For starters, I was shamed at primary school for liking TMNT. In PRIMARY school. By KIDS. Because apparently playing ninja turtles with my friends was so wrong they had to tell me off.

And when I first went to middle school (my first time changing schools, and a huge deal for me) the first thing my new classmate asked me was “You watch ninja turtles?” in a really oh wow way.

Needless to say, it wasn’t good for my confidence.

It took me a long time to convince myself that it was okay. Sure, I already knew it, but it was when I decided that I didn’t care what the others said that I finally became comfortable with it. I fell in love with “childish” fandoms even more then. 

It’s not easy not to care. It’s completely normal to want to be accepted by those around us, and I am super grateful to have friends that do. I hope you find people that accept that too 💜💜💜

Acacia lost her little brother, Aspen, to an infection when he was 7. She’s the sweetest of them all, she hates cursing and is an anxious bean. Acacia thinks Colt is handsome... she’s also the smallest one. Cute thing

Iris is an Iris model caretaker android, who later decides she wants her name to be Freya.

Saffron is my main OC, she is saracastic, tells jokes a lot and loves spicy food.

Rune’s family is from South Korea!. Rune has a crush on Saffron...

Sparrow is a genius. He’s cold, hates jokes, and almost never smiles. Birds make him happy. His original name was Markus.

Although you can’t tell from the app I used, Colt has a full beard and is HUGE. He weighs almost 300 lbs, he’s super strong and a little chubby. He’s 6’3” too. Mostly muscle. He has a crush on ‘Cacia. Dyes his hair gray to match his eyes.
