ooh yes i was a bit nervous about this one.

this is very much still in the planning stages, i’ve written a little 150 word snippet but the rest is just brainstorming. basically the premise is remus has a fantasy version of fibromyalgia/tactile allodynia and anyone he touches experiences that pain too. i’ve done a lot of Thinking about this one—mapping my own pain onto remus, aligning his backstory in the fic with his canon backstory—and i am definitely going to write it. i’m not 100% sure if it will ever see the light of day though. it’s by far the most personal thing i’ve ever even considered writing, drawing really heavily from my own experience of those illnesses, so i’ll have to wait and see if i feel alright with sharing it publicly.

(and yes it will have wolfstar too haha it’s just a lot less fluffy than my others)

If you consume fanfic on ao3 and are 18+ and American I need you to lock in and call your senators saying you oppose a federal porn ban. This would effectively ban ao3 and being queer in public, among many other things, due to the intentionally vague language of the bill. It’s a bit embarrassing how well she knows him and his flare-ups by now—the kind of knowledge that only comes from seeing him at his lowest time and time again, helping him through it time and time again. But stronger than the shame is the warm glow of being loved, the reminder of how many times he’s crashed serving equally as a reminder that she’s stayed every single time. That through the passing phases of boyfriends and girlfriends and platonic friends, Lily is the one person who has never left his side.

ok there’s really not much else to say on this one, sooo snippet!!

i am absolutely not writing this one in chronological order so they are already together in this snippet but it is a getting together fic, they start out as strangers and everything.

also this is almost entirely unedited.

Remus attempts to pick up where he left off like everything is normal. Because it is. A minor accident, that’s all it was. Standard. Run-of-the-mill. Accidents happen.

His boyfriends seem to disagree.

They’re both standing from their stools, and James is already reaching out to take his hand. Their fingertips brush, and he yanks his own back as if the touch is what burned him.

“Moony, baby, come on, let me see,” James says softly.

“I’m fine! I need to finish your drinks,” he replies, a bit snappier than he intended. He’s just…embarrassed. And stressed.
